Wang Chuqin writes with his right hand but is using his left hand when playing 🤯
Yea Lin Gaoyuan does so too
I bet it wouldn't be hard for a right handed person to be a left handed player if they do it from the beginning of playing table tennis. We always assume that we have more control with our dominant hand, but it is more that we have control with whatever hand we are comfortable with. For example, in baseball we throw with the dominant hand and catch with the glove on the non dominant hand. This is not because throwing is harder, but because we learned to throw objects with our dominant hand long before playing baseball. Anybody that plays baseball can tell you it feels very odd trying to catch a baseball with a left handed glove if you are right handed. It is because right handers learn to catch a baseball with their left hand. Considering left handedness is an advantage in table tennis, I could definitely see a father teaching his kid to play with the left hand to give them an upper edge.
Nice to see this
