Hi Yang Yang, Thanks for this very useful lesson. Last few months after our TT club was reopened, I have been following these steps to train my students and really noticed their improvements. Keep up your good works. 👍✌🏓

Actually very good training schedule, especially the beginning. Very good idea to start with one point topspin, then two, then three. Will try that tomorrow. Thanks!

Yes, this video is very useful and encourages good practice and training. One exercise I would add during the multi ball is: Underspin , opening loop, then no spin (simulating block) followed by power loop. So, one spinny topspin vs underspin followed immediately by a flat ball (simulating block) and attack with more power (5th ball)

This training is really good when you want to improve your technic.
But there are to many regular drills. There were 75% regular(90 minuets) and just 25 % irregular drills(30 minuets).
The problem then is that you not playing good when you have an opponent who do good placemants.
Just look when he return the serves he plays slower and more passiv.
When he serves he had the chance to do a placement were he knows where the ball could be comming.
I would prefer a 50 50 training with regular and irregular drills and more serve and return becouse the better players are vetter in serve and return than lower players in the open game (Topspin to Topspin its more equel).
All in all its good but don't do this all the time😉

      @-danR 4 ปีที่แล้ว

I agree, and I see far too many videos which present the same obvious drills over and over again.
I see nothing that teaches and drills players in dealing with the stuff that means half the lost points in real-world matches. In China, the top players spend a good amount of time learning to practice against garbage: chop-blocks, snake-returns/scoops, shitrubber players and twiddlers, illegal serves, touch-artists, backhand-punch bullies, etc.
