Thanks bro! I'm still looking for the perfect defense bag!

    Thank you for teaching lol
So when I swing the bag in the *Diamond Defense 2 (DD2)* style towards the knife to block it from striking me, what should my footwork look like? I'm imagining stepping back in the opposite direction (swinging the bag to the left while stepping back to the right). Also, am I aiming to bounce the bag off the knife or should I follow through with the strike? I'm picturing more of a slap-and-bounce motion to reset the bag for the next knife strike. I'd imagine that multiple knife strikes could come rapidly-maybe 2 to 4 strikes per second-so resetting quickly for continuous defense seems critical.
One other thing I'm unsure about is if the attacker fakes a stab, aiming at my stomach to trick me, but then immediately pulls back to stab at my chest. In that scenario, I'd instinctively swing the bag downward to block the fake strike, but wouldn't that leave my upper region exposed for the real stab? How would you handle that kind of fake-out attack?

I forgot to mention that the power training needs to be done first before speed, because you are more likely to face power over speed and also training with power teaches good form compared to speed.
