They should react to the theory about our character suffering from a illness that makes us see the villagers as animals, maybe make the AU where they really are humans or maybe you could have more Animal Crossing characters reacting but that's just a suggestion
The theory is clearly wrong because when invite your friends to your island or go to one their islands they appear as human. So if we really have an illness that makes us see them as animals then why can we see other players as human. Also anthropomorphic animals and regular animals existing in the same universe is nothing new. Look at Goofy and Pluto, yes Goofy is a dog, look it up.
It's true though you follow us back in the day in Japan and when it was a whole country you used to when he was had to beat samuraized or bounty hunters to even had to be distant the whole entire life and how to make offspring and didn't even have to be with the offspring when you have to make a baby and then after that we dissed it until they die doing their job
