55 fixed blades from 2 inch blades to 13 inch blades. Plus, 9 swords, and 19 axes, for both chopping wood and chopping "Soft" targets, two spears and one pole axe. Oh, I have some folders, so 11 folding knives. I've been collecting since the late 70's.
Very nice collection. I like the mods to your Guardian and the Boot Knife. I have always carried my BGM Knives Spade fixed blade inside the waistband, just cause I don't want to "freak people out" if they see a knife handle, but I found that the blade was developing specs of rust along the bevel. I think it was related to condensation from being against my skin. Ironically, I am adjusting the Ulti-Clip for this knife while watching this video. I am going to front pocket carry it now, so now I will have handle protruding above the pocket.
Very nice fixed blade collection. Used to have a really big fixed blade collection and downsized. My most carried fixed blades are Murray Carter apprentice perfect neck knife in Super Blue steel and a McCullen custom streamside blade in 52100 and a Joe Calton necker hunter blade in 1095.
@@doodysdaggers They are pretty much customs. Murray Carter Perfect Neck knife will be easier to find, and that pattern could be copied by other makers. Some have their own interpretation of it.
Awesome collection dood. I really like that Bradford. My fixie collection is very small. I have 4 or 5 and the best by far is my Buck 112. Will probably pick up one of the Kizer Cobblers pretty soon, they are cheap enough.
I have the Asher lil buddy in CPM 3V. I like it so much I might buy a S90v version too. I’ll also have a axial tomorrow but mines a drop point instead of a Sheeps foot. I’m hoping I can get a Lt. Wright daily Carry the next time they drop on DLT.
Nice collection! I've only got two so far, a Demko Freereign and White River M1 backpacker, but I'd love to grow the collection. The knife you made is sweet too man.
I haven't counted my fixed blade collection. I don't know where to draw the line as far as the category. I have blade lengths from 1.5 inches to 14 inches blade materials from 1095 to 14C28N. I wish I had something in K294. I'm going to estimate that my collection is right around 50. Good video Doody, love the Spyderco. Thanks
Kevin, did you buy that mule team after that awesome cut test? What a knife that is, my favourite out your fixed blade collection. I am a bit obsessed with spydercos though.
Cool blades, I’ve been seriously looking to get into fixed blades for my daily work carry and have narrowed it down to 3 blades. Viper Knives Handy, Boatright Blades Bornhardt W, or the Vero Myelin. I’m leaning towards the Handy since it checks almost all the boxes, the Bornhardt and Myelin are cooler but, I feel like I’d baby them more than the Handy and I need a user, thoughts?
I'm happy with my drop point Axial Alpine V2 with solid Ti scales.

Nice! Yeah I prefer in pocket carry. Whenever I used to have knives on my belt they’d always get caught on things at work

Haven’t heard of those, I gotta look them up!

Nice! Don’t worry it’ll grow and eventually you’ll have too many 🤠

Damn 50 is a lot!
I've not owned a mule but I have an Enuff2 in K390 and it's a laser.
Oh nice! Yeah pretty similar
Where can you find/buy good fixed blades second hand?
There’s the Reddit knife swap, and a few good Facebook groups for buying and selling knives
@@doodysdaggers right on thanks man

Yep sure did! I love this thing
Nice. But "not really know what you are doing" lol. Do any of us when buying knives for anything other than real world use. Cheers!
