@@TehFoamy Well now TurDtebwald is irrelevant in the MTG world. I’m 100% sure he prolly works at some minimum wage job to meet ends meet and has completely removed himself from MTG. Is it just me or did Seth play grasp incorrectly on the Last play of the game? Looks like main phase one since he attacked afterwards but Narset gave grasp rebound. Instead of letting it replay on the NEXT TURN like rebound does he just played it a second time for free immediately.
So not to get too nitty gritty, but at 22:50, when Lukas is searching up his Dark Petition target, he ends up killing Kalitas and making a land into a 4/4. Wouldn't it have been better (Since he already had a ruinous path in the GY) to search up Dark Dwellers, cast that, flashing back the Path on Kalitas? He still ends up with a 4/4 in play, but it's got menace, and he hasn't exposed a land to creature removal.
+Reilly Miller I think Lukas was playing around a few things. Ultimate price doesn't hit the land & grasp of darkness wouldn't give Oliver a zombie (if he killed the goblin dark-dwellers in response to him casting the ruinous path in the graveyard, then he would get the zombie).
Man, Gabby and Randy are both really poor commentators. WOTC has consistently ignored the calls for new commentators and it is really hurting the coverage.
+sharna McDonough Actually Randy is really giving Gabby some openings but she is just too inexperienced. She keeps asking Randy what his opinions are about the decks and you can tell she has basic comprehension of the game but not in depth knowledge. her repeated comments "ready to rumble" or "Card advantage" I hate to say it but this was a bad decision by Wizards of the Coast to have Gabby commentating at a major event like this. She will get better, but as of now she is just stating the obvious.
@@gianni4327 I really hoped that she had gotten better after 4 years, but judging by your comment she still hasn't honed her craft. oh well, better to be lucky in life (born beautiful) than be a hard worker like the rest of us.
@@gianni4327 I think there’s some ego coming into play with Gaby mixed with lack of knowledge. She was confusing mechanics frequently. I’ve always enjoyed randy and his happy chill demeanor. There’s no ego present because he has played so long and is just comfortable with where he’s at with magic. He seems to really enjoy just being there.
Please. Just get gaby off the commentators panel. She is not doing anyone a service by saying "rumble" or just pointing out everything we know already.
