Bro I edited all my videos on my iPad. Once I started using LumaFusion I never went back to my PC. I have a giant water cooled gaming PC and basically all I do with it now is use it for file transfer to my hard drives because the iPad is so much faster at video editing 😝
What an awesome video, and your ability to just dissect and teach is short of formidable. Once again, amazing video!! I will watch more of your videos, but first I'm going to def SUBSCRIBE!
I just spent $30 based on this video and my Luma app doesn't have the green screen key. I hit the pencil edit button, but I only have the star icon and the screen orientation icon. I dont have the lightbulb icon that you called the key?
I'm using an iPad 6 and it's up to date and I have lumafusion but it doesn't seem to work like it does for you. Background light is being caught and changed when I use the blue screen, how do I fix that?
It’s a one time payment, not a monthly subscription. Honestly, a bargain! If you’re looking for something free, maybe try Davinci resolve, though I haven’t used it so I’m not positive it will work.
So I was just messing around with my Apple Pencil with this tip. Didn’t rally work. Are we restricted to green and blue keys? What about other colors that match the blade color?
I don't know if you if you can do it with lumafusion but ive done a similar thing with alight motion and motion ninja with a faster moving blade(i used motion blur to hide the imperfections)
@@LukeEdwin yes I’m gonna download it on my phone can use it for stop motion although it is 29 dollars I think it should be worth it I am definitely subscribing
Oh my gosh!!!! Thank you sooo much!! Me and my eldest nephew had a lightsaber tournament and I wanted to edit the video for him to look super realistic!! Thank you soo much! I’ve liked and subbed!!
So before I buy a been reading some of the reviews most of them are good but some other reviews written are very very bad so I’m hesitant about buying it because some of them have been saying if you use this app you’ll get copyright strike on your video or it doesn’t import into TH-cam and after you use it you can’t import it into another editing app please respond
@@LukeEdwin thanks I’ll give it a try and I’ll be using it for Lego stop motion I was just wondering if I could make the light saber blade in Lego stop motion
@@whenbricksmove5407 yeah I bought Lumafusion and it’s honestly the best soft wear! It’s also far better price wise because it’s not a subscription, it’s a one time buy and so you pay around 30 and you have it for life! I just pull highly recommend!

This is cool and the tutorial is good and all that, but you failed to mention that the LumaFusion app is $30 dollars. WHY IS AN APP THAT FUCKING EXPENSIVE
omg i was just saying to my friend that i need to find more reasons to utilize my ipad and apple pencil ! thanks for this

thank you so much! i paid $30 for the app and looks like its worth it! earned a new sub.
Great tips! You might also play with the bloom effect to enhance the glow.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I’m using this technique right now in a lot of my channel shorts.
hey luke i like the video alot but how do i make a Ignition effect please make a video on that
SUPER COOL! That’s so much faster than the keyframe method. What’s the method you used for syncing up the sounds effects though?
I wonder if I could use this technique for duelling?
Is there a way to do an ignite on the lightsaber
You can add a slide transition to the lightsaber lair or add a crop with key frames that slides
@@LukeEdwin ok if I forget could you make a video about it because I’m sure other people want to know to
Do you know any ways of the turn on effects?
It is just a wipe transition added to the beginning of the light saber layer
@@LukeEdwin oh, thanks
Do you need Matte paint for this? Also when I use the blur it just makes it darker and smaller.
Wow, I didn’t know that Lumafusion can do this kind of stuff, thanks! 🖐️
can it be also done on some other platform using the same method?
Yes
Why i cant find that pencil
yes!!! thank you so much!
this was so helpful!!!
Glad it was helpful!
Can you make tutorial for ClipChamp?

A wipe transition applied to the light saber layer at the beginning and end of the clip
Where did you get the lightsaber from?
Yo that was soo dope
hey it appears that your channel does way better when you make longer videos you should consider that
Thanks!
THANKS this helped me SO MUCH!
will a broom work
I’d honestly watch that if it worked
What about ignition?

How do I do it if 2 people are in the shot?
More LumaFusion guides please, this was amazing
Can you do a light saber fight and will light up for both blades
Does this work with a Macbook Air?
Can it work for andriod devices too?
So I was just messing around with my Apple Pencil with this tip. Didn’t rally work. Are we restricted to green and blue keys? What about other colors that match the blade color?
You can do whatever color so long as it doesn’t match other things in the room that will also get masked out with the key
How would you add the flash effect for a lightsaber duel with this method?
Great video. What key would you recommend if the blade is not colored in the original so basic white blade?
I don’t know if that will work. You could try the Luma key
Such a cool effect! Thanks for explaining it so clearly!
Glad you liked it
@@LukeEdwin can you help me how would I make it retractable And make the blue part not show like in the movie
I was thinking of making a video on a different TH-cam channel and the video called Paper Saber with effects like this.
