This is exactly the system that I have been trying to make in my bus but haven't been able to find. Thank you, thank you, thank you that my idea is possible
Great video! Quick question... When the inverter is turned off, should the charger still function? For example if I'm charging from solar, but have the inverter off as to not draw power. Thanks!
So I do have an auxiliary battery in my van, where should I connect my inverter/charger? From the main battery or from the auxiliary battery? Thank you
Thanks so much, I have a question, can I use same inverter with a charger to charge same battery connected to the battery? Or I must get another battery to charge
Thank you One more question On my extension lead plugged into my wall socket I have my tv an WiFi connected. Can I plug this lead to my inverter and leave it plugged in when power comes back on? Will it drain my battery and will it stop charging from my charger?
Depends for how long you are going to draw power from battery and how much (load). Assuming 100Ah 12v battery will give you theoretical max 1200W, let’s say you have all 100% efficient system. With a load of 1200W you will deplete the battery in 1Hr, but if you have a charger connected, the inverter will start drawing current from that, if it can not support (100A in our case) it will trip and shutdown or over heat or both

Yay! That's great to hear Candy, thank you for your message, and good luck with the system in your bus! Jesse

Very well presented Jesse!
Glad you liked it Gavin!

Good question! I shared a video specifically on this, here is the link: th-cam.com/video/TAEzCcayI0g/w-d-xo.html. Good luck, Jesse.
I learned so much from this

How do you set up my 6 x 200ah battery's for even charging and discharge
Question.......can I connect a charger to a lithium battery and then from battery to pure sine inverter at the same time?
Thank you
One more question

My max. load is 800W, I have a 2.5kWh lithium battery (12V) and a 1.5kVA pure sine inverter (12V). Can I use a 2.5kVA (230V) to charge my battery?
PLEASE WHAT IS THE DIFERENCE BETWEEN BATERY INVERTER AND PV INVERTER
Battery inverter is powered by batteries and PV inverters is powered by solar panels.
