Thanks for being so detailed and not going too fast. I've sewn for years and put in a bunch of zippers but they still make me nervous and I watch a tutorial every single time. Thanks for the reminders and tips!

Wow I've never thought to do this before! I've always just cut the zipper and done some hand stitches looping around the teeth. This looks so nice and professional in comparison!

Thank you making this video. Next time I will try to shorted an invisible zipper turned over the way you showed doing. I broke a needle yesterday sewing over invisible zipper teeth and now think this may have been the problem . . . I had it flipped the other side up. Thanks again!

I've used this when I've made some zippered pouches

Hi Anastasia. Your hair looks lovely 😍. Quick question. When cutting elastic or the zipper do you use your fabric scissors or is that considered not fabric & therefore potentially ruining them? Thanks if you can answer 🙂

Thank you and I use the back of my fabric scissors but dedicating a specific pair of scissors for this stuff is a great idea. Thank you for watching.

I never use my sewing scissors but utility scissors to shorten zippers.

Can you make a video about threads? Where to buy bulk threads for sawing for good price? And can you use thread that is use for embroider, to use just a regular sawing like clothes for example?

Thanks for the idea! I would not use embroidery thread for sewing because it is weak.

Help? How do I do a double sided stitching with a normal machine?

What do you mean by double-sided stitching? Normal sewing machines stitch on the top and bottom at the same time. She just stitched straight forward, then backstitched and repeated a few times with her, very nice, but still normal machine.

@@georgegruschow basically like an overlock machine

Like a double edge stitch? Use a twin needle.

I’ve always sewed a zipper end with the teeth up on sewing machine. I don’t know why. But I never even thought about turning it over to sew.

I feel like it is easier with them down. You can do it either way though if it works better for you that way. Sew many ways to get the same result in sewing! Sew fun!

Onmogelijk over de rits te naaien zonder je naald te breken 😢
