    I kept hearing how invisible zippers are so difficult to work with, but you made it look so simple! Great tips and tricks! Thanks!👍💖

      They are so easy. I prefer them to regular zippers actually. Try one out & let me know what you think.

    Thank you for the complete tutorial
    I remember learning to sew, and having a gap between where the zipper ends and the rest of the project, and I couldn’t figure out a way around it
    Thank you for this, such a help!

    Oh my a tutorial I can follow, thank you. Just one question... with the zipper now on the inside, do I cover it up some how to stop rubbing on the skin or is it just left as it is? Yes I'm brand new at machine sewing. Thank you again for great instructive lessons.

    Great tutorial thank you :) I was told to baste the zipper before sewing to the garment - would you say that would probably be useful on slippery fabrics? thanks a lot

    How much seam allowance do you need for this? Also, how do you ensure left and right side of your project align once you start sewing the zipper?

    • @SewAnastasia
      @SewAnastasia  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I always sew with 1/2 inch seam allowances. You can check your pattern to see what they put in the pattern or if sewing from scratch just use 1/2 inch. You want to start at the same spot at the top to make sure they are lined up.

    When you get to the zipper pull, why not put your needle into the fabric, lift the foot, close the zipper so it clears the foot, then sew the rest of the way?

    LOL, Fingers a little too fast today? Thumbnail says HWO instead of HOW. Anyways, No Dis, just wanted to point that out. Might want to spell check everything to make sure there arent others.
    I do love your vids. Keep up the good work.

      At first I didn't get the comment... but I see now. My video guy is on some pain killers and clearly missed that. Whoops. Thanks for letting me know. A new thumb will be up soon.

      @@SewAnastasia Pain and main meds are no fun. I believe in the power of prayer and will certainly say one for them.
      Let me tell you, trying to sew anything with a carpal tunnel brace on each wrist gets real interesting sometimes(especially as a beginner in tailored pieces). Creative solutions always abound. Hope they feel better soon.❤👍

    So you don't have to iron the zipper first? Why do I keep on failing on installing invisible zippers!? I always put zipper on the wrong way or end up sewing straight through the zipper teeth. My mind cannot fathom!
