The story moves the Xenos, and they are ready to exonerate the Humans, when the Dog spirit wants to testify. Humans good, give pats, call me good boi. Yeah yeah, we already made our decision, shut up doggo.
Because the vampire said that they would fight Xenos on behalf of Humanity...in order to keep being predators to Humans. Humanity came to the universe with their own self-defense monsters. I half expected that story to be a rickroll, because the vampire told the Human "We're never gonna give you up".
