Loved the way you showed how to use Wikicamps in plain English for us dummies. I had youtubed how to use it but got totally confused. This was straight forward and easy to understand. I have downloaded all apps and can't wait to start using them.Thank you.
Thanks for leaving a comment, happy that this has helped. We think we will do a more detailed one on wikkicamps as it's such an important app for travelling.
Google app can be used off-line as well. You just have to look at the area and then download. The you can still search within that downloaded "area" off-line. Just learned that.
Good work guys. I'd be keen for a longer vid on wikicamps and a brief overview of the other things you use in occasion that didn't make it into this list.
We loved the video and the app hints were great. Can Melissa do a 15 minutes video about wiki camps as she tells the information so well. Cannot wait to see her in a video by herself.
I have a couple of the apps WikiCamps but I definitely struggle at a day to day usage I’ve never just searched or adjusted the criteria but would love to be a better user of the app. The other was fuel app I have used that also but did know you could record your fuel price fill ups etc. Any more detailed functional videos I’m sure would get plenty of thumbs up
Hi guys do you think it's possible and practical to do a lap of Aus I a jayco outback swan 2003 model ,, it's what we can afford and I'm super keen to buy one soon and start our travels with S.A. Aire/yourke peninsula as well as wa nigaloo coast line and cape yourke high on the list ,, any tips or advice are welcome thanks
Hi, we had a Jayco Flamingo so we know what they are like. When we decided to do the we chose to move to a full size van, though for us its not a lap its our home. Yes I think you can do a lap in one, If you have a comfy bed, the ability to cook, carry water and food that's all you need. You would probably need a portable toilet as many places wont let you stay if you aren't self contained and you will want to figure out a way to shower. But yes, I think you can do it.
Thanks for sharing, have downloaded Polarsteps 👍 Another few Apps we use a lot on the road are -Australian Fires as we often get diverted around fires. Weather Apps which we use everyday, even at home, like Willy Weather, Windy, BOM just to name a few. Especially as it’s going to be 46 degrees tomorrow here in WA 🥵
If you are on an iPhone then that will be why, I have since learned that for iPhone you can use something called "level remote", I've been told it does the same thing and works well. Thanks for watching.
thanks for watching and commenting, hope you get something out of it.

Thanks Fred, glad it helped. Hopefully with the help of a few viewer comments I can convince her to do a stand alone vid on wikki camps.

Great informative video, thanks for sharing, would love to learn more about how to use wiki camps.
Will have to see if I can convince mel to do it, 😄.
Awesome. I was going to ask you more about wikicamps on our next chat.
Yeah cool, we really only gloss over some basics in this one, so I'm guessing you would be on board I'd we made a more detailed wiki camps vid 😀
A very good rundown on the apps that you use.
Cheers, thanks for watching and commenting 🙂.

Wikicamps is owned by a van park company???
If this is true, how reliable would their free camp list be?
Thanks!
Wow, thank you so much.
We have just started watching your channel and really appreciate the honest advice and varied experience you share. Looking forward to watching more.

Thanks for watching.
Or just the preinstalled measure app that has a level already
Have you tried Google Maps off-line?
Can't say I have, we will have to look into it.
