I miss the Armored Trucks. I just started playing after a couple year hiatus and was sad they removed that and the mechanic. But then watching this brought back a flood of memories of the mechanic driving away and trying to nail that shot on him before he did. It was kinda fun.

The one where you are able to give money to your friend isn't removed from the game. You normally have to do a job like a LTS with that friend or even some times without them and you will be able to give them money. It just depends on how you get the money and then give it to your friend or anyone in the lobby. Edit I forgot another thing. Sometimes you can give money from a bounty you got and you can give it to anyone.
Im still heartbroken about character transfer, it even applies to RDO and id love to transfer my character over from PS4 on that but we cant have nice things

I think you can still give money after some freeroam missions. Like sightseer. I used to give my 20 or 40k to players helping me source crates inbetween missions

It was cool in theory but having played gtao from 2013-2016 it was annoying having him bug out and run away with your car. If they would have properly fixed it instead of just removing anything they can’t fix it could have been great.
I will always miss killing the guy, easiest $25 (I think) and he still brought me my vehicles knowing that every time will be his last. But even funnier side effect after the removal, my friend would order his vehicle and as it was spawning I'd look at it, car would disappear, and then my friend would get the dreaded "I'm sorry can't bring your car right now". He'd get pissed and yell at the game. He had no idea it was me.
I can request the money truck through Pegasus, go off radar and people still throw bombs on the back. It's been removed for years but it's like we're hoping one day they'll add it back
I really miss the mechanic bringing me my car. It felt more realistic and I personally never had an issue with it aside from Johnny occasionally crashing my car. But I am glad they now spawn in really quick.
Notice they only ever fix the things that involve money glitches but any other hacks that allow players to become invincible or have machine gun rockets that destroy your ability to play GTA online still remain.
We didnt forget, these were the best options in the game, till today when i go back to gtaV some time again i always try these things but realise it doesnt work :(

Considering the fact that Rockstar made these amazingly high quality games, I doubt it would be beyond their ability to fix this shit instead of removing it. They just don’t feel like it because it doesn’t effect their profits.
They also removed the ability to change your characters gender in appearance change which personaly I think is really scummy because you need to start an entirely new character and cant transfer any of your properties or vehicles
Also being able to tow vehicles. It had to be taken out because you could crash someone's game if you drive by them towing too many cars. Also you used to have to pay the insurance on someone's car if you destroyed it. They took that one out because modders would add a multiplier to it and then bait people into destroying the car by griefing them. Which in turn would bankrupt the person.
Don’t forget the custom car selling glitch, my friends who did the money glitch would steal cars and customize it and give it to us to sell to make money
I once had 5 armored trucks spawn one after the other on the same road, I was so excited that it saved me from having to do a couple rooftop rumbles to make that same amount of money! A much simpler time...
The Armoured trucks weren't removed because of glitches, they were removed because clever players figured out a spawning loop where they could drive to certain locations and garentee a money truck. It was honest and lucrative grinding. Which R* obviously aren't fans of.
You can still give money to people in your lobby, you just have to have completed a freemode event (the actual ones or simply getting “rewarded” money in freemode), but it only limits you to that amount of money that you’ve earned.
