Yes time is just Ok considering flight arrives on time,check in for domestic closes 60 min before departure means 7:15 so you have 1 hr 45 min to do immigration,get baggage ans clear customs,exit T2 and reach T1 which is quite possible. But do try to exit first from Aircraft and be fast to save some time.
if i book an international ticket for doha/qatar and the terminal number came to terminal 1 but my friend's flight is from terminal 3 then would i have to clear the security checks again ? or there is an access to terminal 3 from terminal 1 directly ? i am afraid the security will stop saying your flight is at terminal 1 you don't have access to terminal 3
International flights now operate from T2. In any condition you can’t access any terminal if not flying from it. You can enter departure of only that terminal from where you are flying.
If I arrive at Chennai International Airport Terminal 2, how can I travel to Terminal 1 for a domestic flight connection (need to book with Indigo airlines from Abu Dhabi to Chennai, then to Calicut) . what about luggage ?? that will automatically shifted or we need to collect and carry till terminal 1 ?? kindly respond urgently . i am waiting to book the same flight plsss
T1 is just 2-3 min walk from T2. Even when you book journey from Abu Dhabi to Calicut on same PNR with Indigo needs to get the baggage after immigration,clear customs and then walk to T1 and re check in baggage at Indigo counter at T1. After exiting T2 turn left and walk few meters and you would be at T1 arrival,take elevator to reach T1 departure.

Yes for any international arrivals at India have to get baggage,clear custom and re check baggage and you have to do the same . You can take baggage on trolley from T2 to T1. If traveling with 18 m/o I would avoid 10 hr layover if possible. Why not fly directly to Kozikode ,AirIndia express and AirArabia fly direct from AD,more option from Dubai. Or check any connection with less layover,can see via Kochi with 5 hr layover, Once you enter T1 can’t exit the terminal in normal circumstances. There is one hotel at metro building where you may rest for few hours . There is lounge at T1 after security but mostly over crowded throughout the day. Wifi is there for 45 min but need to have Indian number to get OTP and activate.

Please ignore this video now for domestic to international transfer. Now international operation has been shifted to T2 which is adjacent to T1. If you arriving at T1 (Indigo,Spicejet aur Akasa) then you need to exit T1 with baggage and then turn right and after walking little bit had to take elevator to T2 departure level and enter the terminal. If arriving at T4 then exit terminal with baggage and use golf buggy provided by airport authorities to transfer to T2 with baggage.Kart will drop you at T2 arrival and then have to take elevator to departure level.
Not internally (airside) but extremely at land side. There is a foot bridge with travelator connecting T1 baggage hall/check in area to T4 Check in area/Baggage hall. Can also exit and take golf kart .
If don’t have to collect baggage then 10 min to exit T1,if baggage need to collect then add 10-15 min for collecting baggage and exit,5 min to exit T1 and reach T2. If re check in required then anything around 10-30 min for check in ,check in for international open 4 hr before departure. Immigration 10-30 min. Then 5-10 min to reach boarding gate.

Is there any metro connection terminal 4 to metro station directly
AirPort metro station is walking from all terminals,can use walkway from metro station connecting different terminal or vice versa.
