if the supply of men with education is lower than of women, then the wage for educated men should be higher, i mean wages can never be the same unless the supply of educated men and women is exactly the same? of course, historically women were paid less because of their gender.
The labour market shouldn’t have a demand for a specific sex of the employer. So why should there be a differentiation in wages if both sexes (not talking about gender) are part of the same supply? There is no distinction, although discrimination often still occurs on the labour market.
How do you dare to say that mothers, caretakers, grandmothers worked in the shadows? Do you think that my mother, your mother worked in the shadow when she/he was taking care of us? What kind of people look down that job?
