It didn't work for me to open the Xbox emulator elsewhere and then copy / paste to the game folder. Like wrth said it's to trick your game into thinking your controller is an xbox controller. For the record, I have Windows 10 and this worked for me when following the instructions in the video.

Guys for anybody who has the problem of it not seeing controller (if you have a red light or the xbox controller image is faded) go to advanced settings and unmark pass trough.
@@Wladaas I unplugged the controller and pluggled again, then I hited the "clear" button, then "reset" and at last "auto" button. It worked just fine to find the controller. The red light turned green as soon as I heard the sound.

Did just about everything you said but still doesn't work...trying this in shadow of tomb raider with an old ps2 wireless controller which has a receiver connected to pc via usb..the mapping is perfect and whatever buttons I press on my controller, the xbox emulator shows it just fine...it's just in the game that it doesn't work...any idea why? Thanks it's working great now. But it doesn't need to be in a specific game folder now with the new update. I put it on startup, so now I don't need to do anything for any games anymore. Basically just on my pc and game on.

I have problem running it on medal of honor 2010,if I use it with x360ce x64 all the button and analog doesn't move, when I run it on x360ce the Dpad and analog button works fine but the other buttons doesn't work even if I press it can you help me. @@duce_is_IQ if you want to use a wireless Xbox 360 controller you need a wireless reciever for it, for wireless its basically plug and play
