- Jeff Pearson and The Skagit Valley Offroad Subaru club don't choose the easy path. In their tweaked out, jacked up Subaru wagons even the storm of the century wont stop them as they tear through Walker Valley, Washington with no regrets.

I've owned three of the GL 10 Subarus.. I'll stick shift. One of them I had four wheel drive low with. The other two were just manual transmission four-wheel drive high. I own one turbo model and it moved pretty good for a Subaru 1.8.
I would love to feel how the transfer case models operate with 4-low. My Loyale is bad trying to crawl around either feathering the clutch or lugging the 1.8 engine
Yes sir, poor mans 4x4. I have owned 4, my current scooby was given to me for Christmas of 2012. 1987 wagon 4 high/low total pile and I love it.. body is definitely going to fall apart before the motor.

fun stuff, pulled an 84 wagon out of a field 10 years ago put on a 4 inch lift, redrilled the hubs for 6x5.5 lug pattern runnin 15s. still runnin and jumpin

My buddy Scott of SJR Lifts in Bellingham does cast aluminum - no rust! Or ADF out of Oregon for quality welds and quick turn-around👌

Not if you swap out the 1.5L-1.8L for a 2.2L and give it a 6 inch lift kit with some nubbies

I've noticed that everyone has older cars.
I've got a 97 and wouldn't put the shoes to it like that, though it has proven to be a regular snowmobile.

In the states ADF for welded lifts, SJR for welded or cast aluminum. Similar costs
just picked up a 88 GL-10 turbo looking to lift it a little bit :)
Oh hell yeah! There will be some interesting stuff for you in my RX build series if you plan to keep the 1.8t. Dunno if I'll be lifting that one but I need to get another wheeler in my life fer sure
@@jaredrusk1053 did subaru ever make 14 inch wheels for the gl10 or in that 140x4 pattern. if I got that right. oh an this thing has 160k on it. I think it sat a while . I watched some of your rx vids already :)

@@OXEN_HeavyGUN Peugeot made a 14" and a 15" wheel in 4x140 but I don't think Subaru ever did. You've got a real gem on your hands there, man.

Damn good stuff guys. I just picked up 92 Soobie lego and want to join the club. I have some questions about lift. I want to be able to fit 29s and I'm looking for some direction for the best set up that won't screw with the axles too much......Care to share some ideas?
