I'm an early riser and I had gotten up and made my cup of coffee and I'm scrolling through the channels and here's this show called Renegade and I was like this is badass. It's now my morning ritual to have my coffee and watch Renegade I can't believe I didn't find this show until 2022
He seems a lot more honest than others he's not claiming,grand master in every art he's ever trained in. I remember wanting to see him and chuck Norris fight in a episode or something,it is a great show.

We watched the pilot episode when it first aired in 1992. My mom became hooked on Lorenzo Lamas. Whenever the show came on she'd say "I'm watching my BOYFRIEND!"

I LOVED Renegade back in the '90s!! I used to watch it every afternoon on USA after school. I even named my son Reno after his character. Renegade was on right before Highlander the Series, another awesome show! Should try and get Adrian Paul on sometime. Would LOVE to see you talk with him.
I remember those days fondly, Highlander: The Series is one of my all-time favorite tv shows. I rarely missed an episode when it aired on USA network. Got a replica of Duncan Macleod's Katana at home, along with one of the score albums and some of the tie in novels produced when the show was airing. Watched a few episodes of Renegade as well, quite enjoyed what I saw. Going to revisit more of the episodes here on You Tube now that the show is here to enjoy. Also, I must say Reno Raines has good taste in firearms carrying a Sig Sauer P226 both as his duty weapon as police detective and then as a bounty hunter.
Lorenzo Lamas is very underrated. Its a shame he hasn't put out a lot of stuff after Renegade, and if he did, I am not aware of it. Looking forward to part 3. Take care. Rick

The show with Jeffery Meek in Hawaii? His on screen fights were awesome too.. then Walker Texas Ranger had to replace it .. I was pissed!
Raven was awesome! I love that show, it's my favorite 90s action series second only to Renegade. It's too bad Jeff Meek never got the credit he deserved. His mixing of Taekwondo and Aikido made for some unique fight scenes and his personality was very appealing. I'd love to see VS interview him, he's very fan-friendly. I love Walker but I really wish we could've had both instead of just that. Raven had a ton of potential.

Damn Love this series. The stories, the costumes especially Reno Rains ,the vehicles especially the Hummer H1, Chayane's Jeep Renegade and Reno's Harley are iconic. Love those hair styles. Lorenzo brother your Series comes first thing in my mind when somebody asks me what is my favorite TV series.Thanks for bringing him on the show. I used to love Renegade growing up. Lorenzo occures very reasonable and down to earth when he speaks about his work. -Good to see, because in another interview he opened up on his political views and called president Biff the most inclusive president America ever had - lol! To me that was almost like the death of my childhood hero and I think Vince Black as a real life character would kick his butt for that! I don't remember if this was before or or after the big incident in the capital... Maybe that was just a phase following Lorenzo's divorces and other personal struggles, because a crisis tends to shift our view on things, not always to the better. However in this interview he seems to be well together and not in any way extreme, also very humble. I wish him all the best! Thanks for the enlightening inter - view!

Lorenzo did a film (can't remember the name) where he played an expert swordsman, and his swordsmanship was outstanding. Probably the best I've ever seen by an actor. He's a great martial artist, but his sword skills are next level.

Lorenza llamas, very talented martial artist and actor. He really could've done so much with his action career, his show "Renegade" was a nice one, but for some reason his movies (I just couldn't get into the fight scenes or how it was directed).
Recently finished a full rewatch of the series and it was a glorious bit of nostalgia. The Renegade Softail is still, in my mind, the coolest bike ever alongside the Terminator fat boy and the captain America. I would love a 2024 remake with Jason Momoa taking the mantle from a grizzled Lorenzo Lamas. That would be cool as fuck lol Thanks Lorenzo for inspiring me to take up martial arts, riding and growing my hair Unfortunately I don't have the latter anymore but the rest is staying 😂
I Love the renegade series I grew up watching that show as a teenager in the 90's. I didn't know it had that low of a budget that they didn't evan have a fight choreographer. But shit for what it's worth Lorenzo did a kick ass job as a fill in one. I use to watch this show fallowed by the Highlander series with Andrain Paul 90's USA channel baby, the good oh times.
To be honest I forgot about Renegade it’s been so long now. We did not have cable tv, so whenever I could watch that show it was a good day. It’s up there on the list with “Airwolf, A-Team, Walker Texas Ranger” among others. Thanks again for the great content!

To be honest I forgot about Renegade it’s been so long now. We did not have cable tv, so whenever I could watch that show it was a good day. It’s up there on the list with “Airwolf, A-Team, Walker Texas Ranger” among others. Thanks again for the great content!

Great interview, miss the masculinity of the 90s. Aikido has its place and should be respected. Too many trash it, as if it's not beneficial to the arts. Beyond that, today's entertainment has gone downhill. Bring back the masculinity!
