- UFC Fighters talk about the value of learning martial arts and why young men should learn to fight. As well as how fighting has helped them with issues in their life.
Clips from Conor McGregor, Alexander Volkanovski, Sean Strickland, Joe Rogan and Firas Zahabi
Yes, I know that Joe Rogan and Firas Zahabi aren't UFC fighters, but they both work in the UFC, Joe as a commentator and Firas as a trainer/coach.

Crazy how much mcgregor changed. He doesn’t have that spark anymore
Sad to see it brother
Nah I think you changed little bro, Connors the same.
@@olegwiththeknowledge1729nah, I get that this comment is stupid bc it’s unoriginal and everyone spams it in any old Conor video, but that doesn’t take away from the fact he’s right
@@mr.purple250 thats your opinion little man
That amount of fame and fortune would change any person ever. He got everything he wanted. He got what made him have that spark in the first place. No reason to still have that spark.
The clear minded Conor was something.... would be nice to see that version one last time 😭
Dont think we will bud.
He did great things and unfortunately let himself go, based off of his own standard. Many fighters fare worse outcomes.
Agreed. Young Conor was a different animal.
he doesnt have to bloat to the camera bro.. he can chillax he made it already
@@msmrreckoning you are absolutely correct. He earned it
No chance 😂
i miss old Connor please God help him and bring that greatness to him again 💥
i don't like conor in particular but i gotta admit that version of him was cool af
"please god help him" hahahaha. he's counting 10k stacks every day. he doesn't need help bud.
@@kieranb7747 says random Irish guy. Stop counting his money. Nobody speaks about money. And don't tell me you actually support him becoming the way he is right now after Khabib fight.

@@jk38thelastsamurai55 combat sports are something else men, people think we are all violent but we have really good values and most of us are friendly, the only difference it's we can fight and after that being homies 😂😂😂
@@x_patote yeah bro, a lot of fighters (well the ones im associated with) are very intelligent and non confrontational, but could fuck someone up if they wanted to , fighters are a lot more sophisticated then people give them credit for
Downside of it is a lot of fighters deal with all their frustration and bad feelings inside the gym. It's a hell of a "drug" and changes you mentally, as Mcgregor said. But as soon as they stop training for any reason they feel depressed and lost

He STILL trains, what are you talking about, he’s just not fighting. Why should he? He was a double champ, he did everything he set out to. Now he’s enjoying to benefits of his hard work
Martial Arts changed my life and gave me limitless amounts of confidence and courage. It isn’t without health risks like any sport, but If you train Martial Arts with humility and mental discipline, your life will change for the better. I guarantee you!
CONOR looking every second right to the cam 😂
Keep humble to all the fellow fighters out there, remember to be more grateful than prideful.

There will be a part two. This was initially supposed to be a test to see if people liked this idea.

@@warriorphilosophyeditsyeah man love it
I always wished I learned how to fight when I was younger. I am 32 now and am learning Muay Thai, however I know that the boat has sailed and the window to learn gainfully is gone. I hope to raise my children to be interested in martial arts.
Keep it up. You're adding great value to the Martial Arts World.
Appreciate you
Respect to Volks for being transparent, it's okay to not be okay
great underrated thing that u made

Thanks for this video very inspirational.
Good compilation mate 👍
Dude add khabib on part 2
I don’t think that it is related to fighting per se it is about having a goal in life something to strive for. Small things won’t matter to you anymore. However, as Daniel Cormier said, combat sport gives you the confidence to stand your ground and confront people not necessarily in a fighting situation but in so many regular life situations.
So I'd it related to fighting or not. You're saying two different things.
greatest edit ever
Perfect video. Perfect. Thank you.
Young Conor was my favorite fighter of all time. All though that part of him seems like it is gone, it has inspired me forever.

Mannn Conor was so humble here. He’s went batshit crazy since this
im a little sceptical about kids learning bbj, because of the risk of snapping bones against someone who'll take it too far,
but wrestling and even kickboxing looks marvellous.
if i was trained in bbj personally, and if i could personally train the kids, then maybe that would be an angle, but its a lot of responsibility to give to random individuals idk.
Yeah, bjj is great but the long term problems like back problems, f*d up joints, possible shoulder injuries arent worth it if you wont compete.
If you feel discomfort or pain then tap out.
That is true but that is why in bjj you are taught to tap early
I;ve been training bjj for two years now and its great! Most people are super gentle, especially to white belts
Calm down pedo 😂
I’m just a hobbyist who trains BJJ and kickboxing, and I feel really happy when I’m training, I don’t mind the bruises, the hits, the summisions, I’m just there enjoying the moment.
After it ends I feel like shit again, back to the life I have. 😅
The background music ruins it
great ahh video
The reason you should learn fighting is so you know how to defend yourself…
When you see old Connor and the actual, you immediately understand how too much money can destroy some people.
Sad to see how conors changed, btw it is important to learn how to fight or train a martial art, in a more spiritual way
RFID, Joey. You'd break my leg with your kicks meow.
Most guys don’t know how to you have to get your ass kicked before you kick someone’s ass it does not matter if you no mma or not
Keep gettin f***** up in the gym tho. Injuries make me rethink it sometimes

Shows Joe Rogan, Firas Zahabi and Joe Rogan again...
They r celebs of the sport
Yeah, I put it in the description, but I figured I'd add them since they're both part of the fighting world (Joe as a commentator + Firas as a coach) and have a lot of wisdom to share.
This Conor and todays Conor are two totally different people

Why does every person do this when they learn just one thing the like? I feel the same about sports but I don’t say everyone has to do it because it’ll make you feel great. Fighting would be great to learn regardless if you enjoy it or not.
The music ruined the video
Seeing Conor like that makes me sad compared to his current self. Great respect to his skill and his struggle, but man. Authenticity is so much more respectable than the fronting

What about an old men? Should they lear it too?
Volk lacking purpose in life without fighting is so relatable
Definitely. I think a lot of UFC fighters relate to that too. I was listening to Dustin Poirier on JRE last night and he said the same thing. When he doesn't have a fight or a goal he becomes his own worst enemy; drinking, getting into trouble, etc.
@@warriorphilosophyeditsgotta transition to a new hobby to get obsessed with
It's a loss of purpose in your life. When you're done, you don't know what else to do. You've only known one thing and you spent your life dedicated to it. So when told it's over, you have no idea what to do with your existence now. Some people can move on and it's easier for them, some have nothing else that's the same fulfillment. It's hard and scary
@@spikeboy101 fighting is never over. Fighting is the only thing you have when everything else is gone. People like me will be fighting and training until we die
@@SeanLives fighting is not just a hobby for REAL fighters. It's a way of life that doesn't leave you. Hell, there's like 3 dudes at my gym still sparring in their late 50s.
yeah, so what they all said was that fighting is they way of dealing with mental issues. some say it brings them happiness, some say it brings them confidence, some say it helps them to contain their anger, or that it keeps them from going crazy and killing themselves. well. one day, and that day will come, you will not be able to fight because you're old, injured or simply too damaged and when that day catches up with you, you're fucked. you've been keeping that wolf from the door all your live and when fighting's gone, the wolf will get you. the lesson is - sure, do martial arts, but also take care of your mental health. too many good guys are not here today because they thought therapy was for pussies. stay safe, brothers. take care of yourselves

Our body isn't build to punch eachother, it looks obvious but you would be shocked how many people think they are living in a Jason Statham movie.
But they are, specifically men’s. Things like brow bones, prominent cheekbones, and beards are dimorphic traits that all increase ability to take a punch
Ufc fighters 🐒
Joe Rogan 🗿
Learn bjj and boxing
The McGregor one didnt age well
Yea, because MMA fighters don't have ridiculously overinflated egos or anything like that. Much more than martial arts, young men should learn humility and respect, ideally from their fathers.
Kindness too. Most of these young men have been told its them vs the world when its far from it.
@@Raunak164That’s what the internet reinforces too. You guys get it👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
You clearly let this go over your head a martial art ego is different from everyday life
Thats the spirit of martial arts tho, humility, respect, benevolence, integrity, any discipline that doesnt stand by those is not good for you
You obviously haven’t done martial arts. You get all those things from training
Yea you can deal with the that situation might occure, if it occures near your weightclass :D You will feel insecure as well if a 50+ pounds heavier guy who also knows martial arts enters the room :D
Me looking at MMA gyms:
Alright sir! That will be 200$ a month!
Me: 😑
Train at home, dont make excuses.
you’re weak minded
University clubs can be a lot cheaper if you’re not looking for mma specifically.
I’d suggest judo. Did it at my local university for $15 a semester.
Yeah I know they can be super expensive...Hopefully in the future there will be more opportunities for cheaper options, even just amateurs hosting smaller workshops would be great.
The thing that sold it for me (if you can make it work) is that money should be spent on things that will make your life better, and training martial arts is a great way to get fit, stay healthy, and learn a valuable skill.
Yeah, Khabib pre-fight and actual fight for sure changed Conor. Too sad to see him nowadays being that dumb.
Stop talking about Khabib like a god. Only man who changed Conor McGregor is Conor McGregor. And he began to change long before the fight with Khabib. Drug addiction, parties etc.

Ngl volk’s mentality looks painful and u healthy. Strong focus on the fight itself and not training for yourself. It doesn’t fit the theme of these other quotes
Bro if you feel unsecure without your training around guys just means that you have a very weak mental game.
I dont train and i never feel unsecure when i enter a room full of guys, most of all i feel curious i think and thats more likely how most ppl feel.
Why only men? Women need to learn how to defend themselves
They should absolutely know what to do, but it would be foolish to fight with a man
It's a man's job to be a warrior
