Ports do tend to have byelaws which are attached to Ports and Harbours laws, so can result in a hefty fine, but I don’t believe there is a byelaw against filming, like Military Lands Byelaws can result in arrests

You are legally required to provide identification to the Falmouth docks, due to the fuel storage at the other end of the docks. Bare in mind it's also a military vessel dock so there has to be a specific procedure for those. All in all the docks police can be goofballs and I've had my fair share of arguments with a few of them but those rules are put in place in case there is a terrorist threat as If those fuel storage units go up in flames it will take half of Falmouth with it along with thousands of lives.
As for filming, you are allowed to film outside the docks and fly a drone outside the docks viewing the inside of the docks, you were very unprofessional about how you filmed them though and could've handled it alot better. Especially after seeing how grumpy they are. It all links back to terrorism, if any of these images get into the wrong hands they will get used for vandalism, protests etc etc.

It used to be an old saying that old or found out bent copper’ were sent to police the docks, but most docks have a port police system in operation. But in the 50’s the dockers had some great scams going at the time that we’ll beat the coppers. One was a docker was seen walking out of the docks every night and the cop on the gate said what have you got in your wheelbarrow, the docker said nothing and showed the cop an empty wheelbarrow. Many months the cop was in the bridewell where he saw wheelbarrow man, the cop said to the other cop what have you arrested this guy for, his reply was for knocking off wheelbarrows !!!! He had been doing it for years along with many other dockers.
Its like watching old animals kicked out of the pack. They've had a good run for x amount of years ordering people about and now they are stuck in a Portacabin watching lorries go by. Waiting for the day they get their leaving clocks.

i lived about 30 seconds up the road from this for a bit for uni and the spar was my local shop, had a curious wander round the corner and was barked at to leave and threatened by the fat glassy eyed one. not even proper police, insane how they're allowed to wear those uniforms while being nothing more than A&P security guards
