- I had just finished installing my custom 3" side exit exhaust so I decided to go out and get some pulls on video.
Please excuse the wind noise i need to make a wind filter for my go pro .

What kind of cars can your VR6 sit with or pull from with 300bhp? Thinking of getting my Corrado vr6 supercharged

About how much did it cost to do the VR6 swap, not including the supercharger?
Aden P. I got this car already swapped just redid alot of it. Ive done one swap and it was actually cheapest to buy a vr6 mk3 donor for most of the parts and then buy whatever odds and ends u need from a passat or corrado to finish it .

Sounds like the suspension is to hard and the wheels keep bouncing off the ground.
I had a VF stg 2 on my 12v mk4 w/ Fk coilovers and had issues with this. Made it feel faster than it was and dangerous which was fun, but made me eternally hate all fwd cars and the reason I sold it.
@@johnk6837 My latest VR6 acquisition has FK coil overs, poly bushed everywhere and bigger ARB and its far to hard and has no give but its going in to have an R32 lump put in very soon and then I'll set about the suspension and the other 500 jobs that will need attention 😀
Hey Man you would probably know best. Did you run stock head bolts? Just curious when these things need to be upgraded?

Really depending on your setup the psi loss/flow generally wasn’t worth the gain of cooler air. This one to my ears has some bugs to work out at idle too. I had Giac on mine and was a pain getting everything even, I know there’s better solutions than that now. You really have to love the car, but its so linear and beautiful when it’s right. Good luck
@@johnk6837 yeah I have a set of 630cc injectors with ported head piper 300 Rallye Cams Short runner intake with custom front mount Intercooler on Microsquirt & E85 just waiting on Gears for charger so I don’t run into belt slip. I also have 75 shot of nitrous on tap in case😁
12 or 24v? i have a mk4 gti 12v and r32 24v. Cant bring myself to mod the R but the gti is begging for some forced induction

is that a VF Engineering Stage II Supercharger Kit?
Made 325hp , vortech v1 at 15-17psi (depending on ambient temp)
Nice what about supporting mods? Are u running a intercooler also?

21t cog pulley making close to 16psi

@@stoverthetech Sounds damn good. I love engines with only one exhaust valve. It's really too bad 3v technology wasn't focused on and most manus skipped straight from 2 to 4.

These are oil cooled, you just get that whistle, no whine like you’d expect.
