    The speech:
I’m sorry, but I don’t want to be an emperor. That’s not my business. I don’t want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone - if possible - Jew, Gentile - black man - white. We all want to help one another. Human beings are like that. We want to live by each other’s happiness - not by each other’s misery. We don’t want to hate and despise one another. In this world there is room for everyone. And the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone. The way of life can be free and beautiful, but we have lost the way.
Greed has poisoned men’s souls, has barricaded the world with hate, has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed. We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in. Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical. Our cleverness, hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery we need humanity. More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost….
The aeroplane and the radio have brought us closer together. The very nature of these inventions cries out for the goodness in men - cries out for universal brotherhood - for the unity of us all. Even now my voice is reaching millions throughout the world - millions of despairing men, women, and little children - victims of a system that makes men torture and imprison innocent people.
To those who can hear me, I say - do not despair. The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed - the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress. The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took from the people will return to the people. And so long as men die, liberty will never perish. …..
Soldiers! don’t give yourselves to brutes - men who despise you - enslave you - who regiment your lives - tell you what to do - what to think and what to feel! Who drill you - diet you - treat you like cattle, use you as cannon fodder. Don’t give yourselves to these unnatural men - machine men with machine minds and machine hearts! You are not machines! You are not cattle! You are men! You have the love of humanity in your hearts! You don’t hate! Only the unloved hate - the unloved and the unnatural! Soldiers! Don’t fight for slavery! Fight for liberty!
In the 17th Chapter of St Luke it is written: “the Kingdom of God is within man” - not one man nor a group of men, but in all men! In you! You, the people have the power - the power to create machines. The power to create happiness! You, the people, have the power to make this life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure.
Then - in the name of democracy - let us use that power - let us all unite. Let us fight for a new world - a decent world that will give men a chance to work - that will give youth a future and old age a security. By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power. But they lie! They do not fulfil that promise. They never will!
Dictators free themselves but they enslave the people! Now let us fight to fulfil that promise! Let us fight to free the world - to do away with national barriers - to do away with greed, with hate and intolerance. Let us fight for a world of reason, a world where science and progress will lead to all men’s happiness. Soldiers! in the name of democracy, let us all unite!

And that way out, is peace ☮️ love ❤️ and respect👭👫👬. We all laugh 😂, we all cry 😭, we all live 🌷, and we all die 💀. These thing we can all connect with.
You can't fight hate with hate. Destruction begets destruction. Hate begets hate. Only love can save us now. I don't care what god or gods you believe in, I have many. Nor do I care about your race, because I wasn't raised that way. I care that you are happy. I care that you are good and honest. Stay the path of peace. Live good. Love strong. And keep on keeping on. I wish you nothing but the best in this life and the next.

“A world where science and progress will lead to all men’s happiness.”
This is of great importance considering the social circumstances at that time. As discussed by Horkheimer in „Dialektik der Aufklärung“, reason and the scientific developments, in a way, negatively abandoned the fruitfulness of humanity, making the humans part of the machinery that does not have their own free will and that could be controlled or operated by a political or commercial upper existence.
Reason and science brought about by the 18th century’s enlightenment could have a power for us to get out of a dark, prejudiced cave and to lead us to a wide and adventurous field where we can liberate ourselves from enslaved mind.
That must be the essence of contemporary history of thought, or we’re still facing the same problem.

beautiful speech if every country heard this all war would probably end but we will probably be at war with something more intelligent more advanced more dangerous MORE STRONGER AND MORE VOIOLENT but we may lose if we are at war with it but it doesn't matter god made our timeline he made everything's timeline he even knows everything like what we really are up against we are not in war with humans we are in war with something more intelligent more advanced and more dangerous then we can imagine let us unite and bring peace to the world no more war but peace let us unite and face bigger threats.

This was a amazing speech but its sad the biggest weakness of the people and common man is Time.Dictatorship’s,Oligarchy’s And all government’s who exploit the people continue what they do without opposition because they have time to do so. They will always have supporter’s and with the passing of time those marching for their rights will fall to what I like to call the American Syndrome with them eventually not caring anymore and they move on to the next conflict. From All my year’s from what I’ve seen is that Most usually in the western world do is complain. They never act with them only complaining About their hardship’s and then usually greater problems such as Marital or Economic issues come causing many to just move on.This disease like I’ve mentioned is a American one,We will always march for various reasons or change but the reason they never come is because the American government buy’s out their time eventually making everyone move on.All Incidents in the government will at first cause outrage but giving the government has no reason to change along with them not really facing any real consequences they do nothing waiting til the people just go back to dealing with internal problem’s or fighting off a supposed National threat. It is a shame that many people such as corrupt political figure or police forces don’t get what they deserve due to the people either not caring anymore or taking what they call some supposed victory with nothing changing and the government coming out on top.If you think that justice is served for many of these corrupt police men or politicians I encourage you to look through the at the after math of many of these incidents and see what these people are doing now. There will always be people who doubt people who gas light to hold on to some false hope in the government.Either now or thousands of years from now I believe that the people will win once more for how long I don’t know with right’s and liberties for the common man return once more.It is a shame that in the blindness of supposed success and the victory they always for their what it means to be human.

It's a beautiful speech ... but it's sad that this speech made idk 60 70 years ago still fits in today's time line ... this means for all this time nothing has changed... everything is the same ...men continue to be everything this speech says and we the people are still being inslaved... what's the point of a powerful speech like this one if everything it's still the same... it's sad really

We are everyday people. Its good if one tries to help another one. If you save only one life, it was a worthy deed. So if this speech reaches only 1 heart and changes the viewpoint of that person, it already worth. We - ordinary people - cant save millions. Be humble, start small. Then - if you are really a good hearted person life maybe give you a chance to save more people. If you just act instead of really have kindness in your heart, you lie yourself collecting bad karma.
So you see. Jesus, Krisna, Buddha was perfect, but still couldnt save everyone. Too much distraction in our life.

I've never heard the expression Breadtuber before. Breadwinner is an expression used in British political jargon, to describe the head of household who earns a living. I have to say that i never thought that Chaplin was all that funny. As for him having a pop at Hitler, he should have known better than to do that.
