Nice job. My 2008 Suzuki SX4 has the same bad hub, gonna replace both rears today and this was a good refresher course. Can't wait for a quiet ride again.
It will make a huge difference! I don't have my SX4 anymore. I was rear ended in the summer. (Write off) The new car is a 2006 Volvo V50 AWD. It's a rocket compared to the SX4. Still miss that car. Good luck with your repair.

What's the torque spec for the axle nut to seat the bearing?

What year is your sx4? Believe I have the same issue on a 2013, would it be the same process?
Mine was a 2008. I think its the same process. Tip: clean the rust off the bolts on the back of the mount. Huge difference in taking them out.
