That sounds mean man. Can't wait to hear it in person some time. I bet the brakes are way better than before. Glad you were able to get her out and spin the wheels a little.
Very cool. Not many 66-67 Fairlanes around. I think the rear wheels are 9". We also had to narrow the rear end a couple of inches. It's pretty close back there. Would love to mini-tub it, but that is a project for another time.
Absolutely amazing... i have a 67 fairlane that we have been working on... great job... how wide is the back wheel ? I already installed a mustang 2 front suspension... about to order the 4 link from heidts.. thanks
The color is a slight custom mix of Sauterne Gold. I think Ivy Gold is the same color. Yup. The interior is original. The XL package got the two-toned seats I believe.
Looks great,Ted,and for my money,I LOVE the wheels! I may have found some air bags for a fairlane (not ride tech),but I love the way yours sits....It's kinda almost as if I'd like one to sit like the Holman Moody Fairlane that Mario Andretti drove to victory in the 1967 Daytona 500....Nice combo,and If I saw correctly,I see that the 4 link complete rear is less than $1400 ??
Nice! I have got hooker headers and flowmasters for mine too. Could you tell me the wheel size front and back,as well as tire size? Also, what was used to get the nice stance that yours has? Thanks!
How does the suspension work? Im looking at doing the same to mine. My fairlane is getting a 700-900 Hp Supercharged cleveland so im gonna need more tire out back, so I was wondering does the Heidts 4 link rear end free up any space for some fatter rubber? (I was thinking It would in combination with a mini tub)
VERY nice! I am restoring a 1966 Fairlane 500 convertible myself.. I have a 347 going in it as well. What exhaust are you using ? What about the serpentine belt set up? Thanks!
i have a 66 fairlane that is my daily drive through the summer. i gotta know, do you know of any websites where i can get a gt hood that has the chrome inserts..mine has a cowl hood and im sick of the way it looks
Hey there..Great car! Does the Heidt's 4 link actually lower the car in the rear,because this car looks much lower than most 67's that I've seen....I've been trying to find some kind of air ride system for 66-67...Looking to buy a 67 before the year is out...
Thanks a lot! The 4-link does lower the back and it's adjustable as is the front. I have it dialed in pretty good now and don't touch it much. I had to the first year or so as the springs settled. When we built the Fairlane there wasn't a air ride kit available. Would have to take one and modify it to work.
My brother is looking at this car now,... It's for sale from Colorado for a suspiciously low price,... I am in USA looking at it for him,... He likes it but has concerns,... Any advice or info would be great because it would be a big purchase for him,... I hope you can send me a message :)
Sorry man. No one make a GT hood with the chrome inserts. No one. You might be able to buy the hood and the inserts separately. Not sure. finding Fairlane parts is not easy..... Good luck....
HA! Did you get all of the info you need? Not sure if you saw, but the car was featured in the April issue of Modified Mustangs and Fords magazine. It's also on their web-site. if you have more questions, email me at 67scarelane@gmail.com
That's one AWESOME FORD FAIRLANE! I like it! 😎👍
This is one bad ass Fairlane!!! I love the direction you went with this and the wheel choice really sets the look off well!
Beautiful classic ride.
That sounds mean man. Can't wait to hear it in person some time. I bet the brakes are way better than before. Glad you were able to get her out and spin the wheels a little.
Very very very nice car!
Just bought a 67 too. Inspirational.
very nice hope to have up and runnin this spring
@MrRbcable thx ! Again nice car!!!
Thanks!! My exhaust is all custom bent for the car. Using Hooker headers and Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers. The belt setup is from March Performance.
Beautiful Man!!!
Beautiful car. Perfect stance.
Thanks. Having the perfect stance was very important to us. I owned the Fairlane for 14 years. Sold her in June 2015. Miss her a lot.
@2damnkwik
Thanks! Nope....it's a Fairlane 427R Code hood. I bought mine from Crites Performance.
Sweet '67!
Thanks very much! Hopefully this Spring we will be putting in a AOD or Tremec 5 speed. The C4 isn't cutting it with the 347.
Thanks!!
Absolutely a very nice fairlane
Thanks very much! She's back in storage again for Winter. Yuck....
Wish I didn't fcuk up the one I had back in the day. Might even have turned out as nice as this one...😉

@MrRbcable
Thanks much! 18" wheels with 4.5" BS (I think??). Tires are 275 out back and 235 front.
Sweet car... Saw it at the rod shop a few years ago... I bought your old wheels..lol there on my 68 427 fairlane..
Thanks! Crazy that was a few years ago already. Enjoy the Centerlines, I always thought they were nice looking wheels.
@mercurymarauder
Thanks much! The car is featured in the April 2012 issue of Modified Mustangs and Fords magazine, if you want to check it out.

Sweet ride! What suspension set up do you have? that ride height is perfect!
@n2dabloo - Thanks much!

@69bronco351

Is your color an Ivy Gold? ANd is that the original two-tone interior? Just starting my '67 500 Convertible resto.
nice car..is that a cyclone hood?
i didnt see it drive anywhere
@69bronco351
Stock ride height? Nope. Much lower. Can adjust with the new suspension.
what engine is that?
That is an absolutely gorgeous car. Does it have the wilwoods in the back as well?
+Legion Red Thanks. I sold her last June after owning the Fairlane for 12 years.

It's a scam. The car is no longer in Colorado. Most of the photos the "seller" is using are mine. This pops up every once and a while.

Thank you sir :)
not a fan of these wheels but great color
