1993 Cobra Dyno
มุมมอง 3627 ปีที่แล้ว
Had my Cobra on the dyno a few days ago. Couldn't push it quite as hard as we wanted, as it was detonating at the higher RPMs. I was running Ethanol free fuel, should of been running 10% Ethanol. Will run this fuel out of the system, go through a couple cycles of 10% and will put her on the dyno again.

Here is the Fairlane out on it's first Spring 2011 test drive. Have some tweaking left to do, but so far so good!!
I will continue to keep my eyes out for this.
Music to my ears 🍬
Wish I didn't fcuk up the one I had back in the day. Might even have turned out as nice as this one...😉
I bet you regret selling this car!
The Scarelane is actually a 1955 Ford with a Cammer 427 and runs A/Gas in the South Eastern gasser Assoc. check it out
What a beautiful Ford
That's one AWESOME FORD FAIRLANE! I like it! 😎👍
My first car was same.1967 fairlane 500 xl 289 with trick heads and rollerized and gear driven she was sweet 570 HP out of small block Ford's . This one is nicer than mine ever was. Beautifull and I WILL own another one. A beautiful one like this. Thanks for share
Nice
Hi there....I love the car !!!! where is the vehicle today sir?
Good question. It bounced around a bit and then I think it went overseas.
@@tnourse thank you for your response, i'm having my 3 car garage built on back of my property here in Tenn in 2022 as my retirement sanctuary lol!!!! Thinking of doing a fairlane project and this car is my road map!!! Thank You!!
I have a 66 same color. What's the color called? Med Met sage green?
It was a custom mix of Sauterne Gold.
Would you please give my youtube channel a subscribe
Spring first drive with dirty tires
Beautiful
And I thought parking , was bad in my area . hope, you enjoyed your day . so much to see .
Great Machine. Love the engine well.
Sounds wicked! Looks sharp as well.
Sweet '67!
Put the rite size tires and wheels!!
I was wondering if you still had this beautiful car
Nope. I sold her a few years ago.
Sounds angry. Didn't get a nap?
great looking cars they are and this one has a really nice rumble to it.
Show us the car!
Nice Cobra!
How much??! Is that in Minnesota?
For sale? Sweet ride!
jay longton Thanks for the comment. Everything's for sale for the right price.
Any idea how much you would want?
is this at bedroom volumes? was curious as to whether or not this amp can sound good at low volume. I'm looking for a similar tone to what you have in the video but I also want to be able to do the more modern metal stuff too, think it can do it? I'm trying to find out before I buy it
Very low volume. Just playing in my basement. I've played a few Engls and every one of them sounded great at lower at home volumes.
+Ted Nourse excellent! I was trying to decide between this or an EVH 5150 III.
The vehicle I was driving was a 2015 challenger with the black rims
Want to sell it?
Everything is for sell for the right price.
+Ted Nourse Email me jkennedy1998@yahoo.com and I can get in contact with you if your serious. I'm a member of the 1993 registry too that's where I saw your car first.
Is this car for sale and what is your asking price?Call me at 303-931-1323 ask for Jim
I want oneI had on in Wisconsin
That is an absolutely gorgeous car. Does it have the wilwoods in the back as well?
+Legion Red Thanks. I sold her last June after owning the Fairlane for 12 years.
My brother is looking at this car now,... It's for sale from Colorado for a suspiciously low price,... I am in USA looking at it for him,... He likes it but has concerns,... Any advice or info would be great because it would be a big purchase for him,... I hope you can send me a message :)
It's a scam. The car is no longer in Colorado. Most of the photos the "seller" is using are mine. This pops up every once and a while.
***** Thank you sir :)
i didnt see it drive anywhere
Beautiful car. Perfect stance.
Thanks. Having the perfect stance was very important to us. I owned the Fairlane for 14 years. Sold her in June 2015. Miss her a lot.
I have a 66 with a front end setup like yours, what size wheels/tires, backspace, did you find fit the best? Could you go bigger? Nice job and thanks!
The fronts are 18x7 and the rears are 18x10. 4.5" backspace. I believe the front tires are 235 or 245 and the rears are 275. Can't go any larger. Had to narrow the rear end a few inches as is. No room at all. thanks much for your comment!
Thanks for the feedback. What kind of backspace are you running on the front?
I believe the fronts and rears are both 4.5"
This is a SWEET RIDE!!!!!! What wheel and tire combo do you have?
Thanks very much! Centerline Stage II 18" wheels. BF Goodrich g-Force T/A's. Front: 235/40ZR18 Rear: 275/35ZR18
Absolutely a very nice fairlane
Thanks very much! She's back in storage again for Winter. Yuck....
What size are the wheels on this beauty?
18x7 front and 18x10 rear, if I remember correctly. Thanks for the compliment!
No prob
Looks great,Ted,and for my money,I LOVE the wheels! I may have found some air bags for a fairlane (not ride tech),but I love the way yours sits....It's kinda almost as if I'd like one to sit like the Holman Moody Fairlane that Mario Andretti drove to victory in the 1967 Daytona 500....Nice combo, and If I saw correctly,I see that the 4 link complete rear is less than $1400 ??
Hey there..Great car! Does the Heidt's 4 link actually lower the car in the rear, because this car looks much lower than most 67's that I've seen....I've been trying to find some kind of air ride system for 66-67...Looking to buy a 67 before the year is out...
Thanks a lot! The 4-link does lower the back and it's adjustable as is the front. I have it dialed in pretty good now and don't touch it much. I had to the first year or so as the springs settled. When we built the Fairlane there wasn't a air ride kit available. Would have to take one and modify it to work.
Sweet car... Saw it at the rod shop a few years ago... I bought your old wheels..lol there on my 68 427 fairlane..
Thanks! Crazy that was a few years ago already. Enjoy the Centerlines, I always thought they were nice looking wheels.
That's the nicest and cleanest original engine I've ever seen
I don't have a problem if you don't like me car. That's fine, but your comment makes no sense at all!?
Is it missing a drive line or are you unable to get insurance. I don't know maybe its just me But i'm pretty sure that's what cars are for moving people from point a to b so far all yours has gone is point a. Pathetic man pathetic
Awesome Job Kate!
hey thanks, nice ride though hopefully mine turns out as nice!
They are Centerline Competition Series II. Bonspeed are too spendy for me! Fronts are 18x7 and rears are 18x10. Back space is 4.5" if I remember correctly.
what wheel and tire combo are you running? looks like bonspeed wildthangs. i'm just curious what size and backspacing. thanx
not a fan of these wheels but great color
Thanks very much! Centerline Stage II 18" wheels. BF Goodrich g-Force T/A's. Front: 235/40ZR18 Rear: 275/35ZR18 The Heidt's kit brought the stance down.
