Reminder, while a level 5 spell is like level 45 in DND. In YGGDRASIL you get 5th tier starting at 29 magic levels
In regards to the NPC's knowledge of games terminologies, there was a sidestory that revealed that they remember the things that happened while its was all a game also they heard other terms outside the game that they didnt understand but as they were only used by players they basically considered it the "laguage of the gods" thus of course they wouldn't know thus they do their best to "interpret" terms like "anime" "manga" "R-18" etc
7:58 Aninews is so sneaky with the use of Genshin OST in this vid lol. In my head I was like, "this bgm sounds familiar" only to realize it's from Genshin. I had to double take and check if my Genshin was open in the background when I watched this lol.
I usually don't watch Aninews' Cut Content vids mostly because I read the Light Novels and already know most of it so this is the first time I'm watching it through this reaction.

one extra thing in that episode was Ainz finding any weapon of those soldiers to stab himself with em to 100% make sure about the power levels and his immunity. thanks for the vid.

19:50 so far the only Players we know of that arrived in the New World were the Six Great Gods, Greed Kings, MAYBE the Minotaur Sage, at least one or two members of the Thirteen Heroes, an unnamed person who was killed by the Deep Darkness Dragon Lord and, obviously, Momonga himself. I don't know a lot about the Minotaur Sage or the Thirteen Heroes but it seems like almost every Player or group of Players that appears usually ends up causing drastic change. such as introducing the tier magic system that would very quickly replace the wild magic that was dominant prior. it's also implied the Dragon Emperor was somehow responsible for the first appearance of Players and their continued arrival to the New World, somehow dragging both their in-game avatars as well as their minds into the world although the mind appears to change if the body is not human. something we see happen with Momonga/Ainz

I don't remember, do they explain how much the level expands the hp bar in the game? I mean shalltear tanked a super tier magic spell and she is not the tankiest of the guardians
@@xxspringtrap-goldenbunnyxx6137 its just in MMOs in general, its to contextualize why she shouldn't freaked out over a potion that heals 50hp because in DnD, a potion that heals 50hp might as well be a full restore potion.
-If i remeber correctly, to minmax the most HP possible at lvl 1 in 5e you need barbarian (12 hit die) with 20 (+5) pts in the Constitution stat so its 12 + 5 for a grand total of 17 at lvl 1.
-So if you lvl up and choose to roll the hit die and hit a 12. . [Formula is current HP + roll + Con modifier] so 17 + 12 + 5 for a total of 34
-So at lvl 3 you need to roll at least an 11 to just hit clean 50hp hence her freaking out. 34 + 11 + 5 for 50
-The basic health potions in 5e i believe is 2d4 +2 so heals a minimun of 4hp and max 10hp

While AniNews has good recaps & I would understand staying with him, I beleive the TH-camr @ZeronicKiba has much better episode breakdowns & what happens in the novels in comparison though he's not finished with season 1 yet.
