One of the biggest differences when it comes to Momonga vs other isekai characters is _how_ he lived before he was isekai'd. First off, Momonga was not a teenager in modern day Japan. He was a grown man, estimated to be at least in his late 20s, who lived in the year 2138 and worked as a salaryman for a soul crushing, oppressive mega corporation. And to add onto that, such conglomerates have basically ruined the world due to short-sighted efforts to gain more money and power. Momonga mentions in the LN that he was fully accustomed to seeing dead bodies laying on the street because it was simply normal for people to drop dead due to how inhumane living conditions were in his time. Which is why he was already somewhat apathetic toward human suffering, because where he comes from, the social hierarchy has taught him that when you are on the bottom, your life means nothing and that there is no one coming to save you.
One reason Ainz may not be the most intelligent person is because he barely has a grade school education, and was thrust into a souless corporate job immediately after that small education. We light novel readers have known for a while, and the anime did give a small amount of screentime to the culprits, but I will say when Ainz figures out who did it, there'll be hell to pay. As for the floor guardians and the others having their own people, it's true that they have their own species and the like, but they were all created from scratch by the guild Members specifically to fulfill their roles. Yes, they were given backstories, or lists of traits, but they're essentially unique individuals created to serve Nazarick, and everything Else was just fluff to pad out their character sheets, but when they became real people in the new world that fluff became true aspects of themselves.
An interesting aspect of Ainz Ooal Gown that gets lost in translation is the fact that his character's name in the Yggsdrasil game was Momonga, which is a species of Japanese pygmy flying squirrel. Which ezplains a lot about his personality and character. While one of the more powerful characters in the game of Yggsdrasil if given time to prepare and he knows who he is fighting and has access to his gatcha toys [like the Horn of the Goblin Heneral]), he is easily startled and at a loss when taken by surprise. He was not even the most powerful character in his Guild (and he often ponders on what his more powerful former friends would have done in this situation); he was Guild Leader because he was willing to do the routine administrative work required to maintain a Guild in Yggsdrasil, He is very cautious about this whole new world and the unknown dangers it might contain (especially as there is hints that there have been previous visitors from Yggsdrasil to this new world). As for power level I like to think of them as typical MMO characters (level 80-100) suddenly dropped into a typical tabletiop RPG (level 4-12).
not fully true, Saturo became the guild leader, due to him being a realy good mediator between the rest of the guild members. When it comes to strength, while he has a RP build, he is still part of the 0.1% of top players, marly with information gathering and knowledge in pvp. He had a mostly positive 1v1 win rate against most of the guild members, with a 0 wins against TouchMe, as TouchMe where the 0.01% off the 0.1% of players in pvp, being 1 off 9 best pvp players in the game. Saturo, while not exactly highly learned book-wise, is extremely good at on the fly decision making, and iterating on plans. The main thing that makes him seem so "dumb" in the setting, is that he is good at small scale management and planning. But Nazarik operates on a global scale management style. For power lvl of mmo characters, it differs from mmo to mmo, but power scaling is exponential to logarithmically high with levels. Where over 90% of a power budget, exists mainly at max lvl with min maxing stats/geare/build. Using a table top asimalie, would be how far the gap of a lvl 20 min-maxed power gamer character, with a normal lvl 20 character, the difference puts a normal character at less than 10% the power output of a min-maxed character.
You should react to Overlord - World Map explained by Schäärgocks Schächsaß. His channel is dedicated to Overlord Analysis and one of the best YT channels exclusively dedicated to Overlord. Its a bit of long video, but it tackles lot of details missing in anime and gives you a much better overview of the world overlord takes places and the story so far.
@@World_Day_Dreamer Aninews also I think started off as an overlord dedicated channel. Nowadays there's lot of other content but still like 60-70% content is of overlord analysis videos.
@@charanawijesiri1128 Aninews i find to subjective in how he gives information, Schäärgocks while having some subjective hypothesises here and there, stays realy objective, and to the source with pure good info
ainz worries comes due to his class and pvp. his class is bad for pvp. but because he tends to be meticulous and makes preparations and back up plans, he is what you could call a medium range on the good tier. he worries there someone out there (another player) who is better than him on pvp and could kill him and the npcs not explained in the anime. but ainz adventures as momon because he does not want to return home. because of the constant sexual harassment from albedo.
"i feel like he would do right"... weeeelllll.... if you are a human.... lets just say you dont want to know about the sheep partchment for his scrolls
well i mean fair, but no one in nazarick except taure is human, so for them humans are similar to insects or rodents, hamsuke and human same thing. carne village and lizard men village= same thing to them

genin = starting ninja, jonin = experienced ninja...
Highly recommended to check out AniNews's Cut Content videos about Overlord. The light novels are GREAT, so much cut, some things changed.
can confirm 👏👏
As much as Nux likes the anime and hypes it up, he doen't have a very good understanding of the anime
When has he ever? His incessant take on Loli should've been a red flag that he's no fan.
