I always play glass cannon in mmos that I play. Sacrificing my survivability for dmg can only be as viable if I don't get hit in the first place hence why I play long range builds or high evasion builds.
Sometimes though I also like playing support classes provided the support class actually has something interesting me to play than the usual boring roles.
One game I played started with me as a range class but I found out the the healer class of the game has this interesting quirk. One of their skill allowed for limited time stop while dealing some damage on the enemy.
This was originally meant to basically allow the healer to back off away from an enemy charging at them but combined with an item that reduces the cooldowns of skills by 12 secs for 8 secs and the fact the skill has a cooldown of 10 secs, you basically get an unlimited spam of that skill for 8 whole seconds.
The dmg wasn't that big, but combined with the fact that you can absolutely spam it while they can't do anything, no dodge, heals, or skills to help buff their defense or stuff meant that for that 8 secs, they are under my mercy.
I ironically body a lot of reckless backline players in pvp who think they found a healer to bully. The only enemies I really have are those with their own crowd control skills which in this game was also the tanks so their hp and defense is even tougher to crack.
