Very helpful video with a lot of charisma. One thing to suggest is to write down the names of squares and mosques and attractions you mention, so it's easier for us to find. Thanks and keep it up.
I watched a few videos of yours and absolutely love the way you illustrate Istanbul traveling. I especially like Myles’ enthusiasm and sparkle in her eyes when she explain things. Keep it up guys! Show us the world through your lens.
You guys are awesome: I love the attention to detail, good video shots, clever observations. Istanbul is one of my favorite places in the world (along with London, Delhi, Reykjavik), and I was here last year for a few days as part of 2 week tour of Egypt and Turkey. And I will be transiting through Istanbul this year for 19 hours so your tips are appreciated. I am a subscriber now as your channel deserves all the support for being really HQ. Your heart and soul goes in this week and it shows. Good vibes from Seattle, WA.
Merhaba ve teşekkürler! Great videos. You guys are very knowledgeable. I studied Turkish in college but have only been to Turkey twice. Kadıköy is definitely on the list this time!
My wife and i are coming to Turkey at the end of April for 3 weeks to see Ankara, Istanbul, and Cappadocia. I cant wait to see all the amazing things and food. And be able to smell all the smells of the markets.
Absolutely stunning, your tips are awsome. By the way madam your voice is so sweet its like Ai voice speacially the word "update " 😮. You guys have real potential. 😊
HI guys, I have been watching your videos for several months now. I love your content and your style and that you seem approachable and are extremely likable. So we just bought the Istanbul guide. We are old...we will be traveling to Turkey for my 60th birthday, but we are adventurous and have traveled the world. We are on a bit of a budget as we are now both retired so knowing the areas that still hold the lower pricing is extremely valuable to us. We will be in country for 18 days. I know inflation has hit the world, but how has it hit Turkey? Is it still affordable for you two? Any tips you could share are greatly appreciated. Keep doing what your doing!
Thanks so much for buying our guide and so happy to hear you have been enjoying our videos! I just sent you an email on this.. hopefully I sent to the right person 🤣🤣.. let me know if you don’t receive.
@@WaypointofView Hey guys, We are heading your way next week and are super excited. Still looking for the name of the restaurant outside of the spice market that you had the eggplant and kanefe, but I don't see it in the description and I don't see it in the guide. Please Please let us in the know???
Okay you guys rock. I have been watching you guys going around turkey. My wife and I are going on vacation there soon and i cant wait. We are going to Istanbul, Ankara and Cappadocia. Wish i could go see the tepi’s but wont be there longer than 3 weeks total. May have to travel back again some day. And cant wait to try the food. Amazing and thank both of you for the videos ❤️
Hi Jess and Myles! I don't even know where to begin! Your videos are AMAZING!!! Thank you for taking the time to show curious individuals like me all about the AMAZING country that you live in! In regards to this video I want to ask, which company did you use for the Sunset Bosphorus Cruise? I've noticed that there are countless companies providing this type of tour, so to help narrow it down, I thought I'd ask you instead. LOL! Once again, thank you so much!!! ♡
Thanks so much! So glad you are enjoying our videos. The guys we did the sunset cruise with are great. They are on Airbnb if you want to book with them here is the link abnb.me/FfWGc9MvvHb shameless plug, if you buy our guide we can save you 15% on their sunset cruise which depending on if you are traveling with anyone, that discount alone could pay for the entire Istanbul guide… 😀! Either way hope you have a great trip!
Absolutely! Topkapi palace is a MUST see in Istanbul which is why we highly recommend coming for more than 24 hours 😂! Topkapi palace can take up to 3-4 hours to properly explore including the Harem. If we chose to show it in our 24 hour video we would not have had much time left to show anything else…
Love your clips and your guide. But for me as a history buff, if I had one day in Istanbul and missed the Topkapi, I'd be heartbroken. I took John's Bosporus cruise and loved it. Thank you!
I enjoyed your videos and already subscribed. We are vising Istanbul in June, do you offer privately-tailored tours that explores the city in depth? Thank you! :)
So sorry for the late reply, unfortunately we don’t offer any kind of personal tours.. our digital guide is intended to help people explore the city independently. 😉😊 If you are wanting an in-person guide, we would recommend a licensed local. If you want to reach out on Instagram, we would be happy to connect you with someone we have used before. 😊
Can I ask what information are you looking for? We are actually going to be filming a new video on the Hagia Sophia changes in the next couple of days and then we will also update our digital guide accordingly. ☺
Hello to both of you! My husband and I are getting ready for our trip to Turkey and your guide plus videos have been incredible help. I have a question… I would like to reserve a rooftop restaurant at sunset close to Galata Tower. Any specific that you would recommend? TIA
Hi there!! So happy you are finding our videos and guide to be helpful!! 🤗🤗 Barnathan has a really amazing view but I can’t necessarily recommend it for the food. We have been there multiple times for drinks at sunset though and the view doesn’t get much better!
Why is the name of the restaurant you guys had lunch after leaving spice bazaar? My wife and I will be going there next week. Also where is the best place to buy spices? Our air b and b is located in Moda. We did not find this information in your guide….thanks.
Haha okay great.. I was just about to tell you that you could find the restaurant info on page 31 of the guide 😉😉.. as far as spices go, if you enter the spice bazaar at the entrance next to the famous coffee roasting store (Kurukahveci Mehmet Efendi), I think it’s the first corner stall on your right.. they have pretty good prices. But a lot of the prices within the spice bazaar are quite high. There are also a lot of shops outside the spice bazaar that typically have better prices than the ones within. You should check out our souvenir video if you haven’t already watched that one. 😊
This video was filmed in mid November but it was before Hagia Sophia had an entry fee. We actually just recently made a video about the updates to Hagia Sophia so recommend you check that out :)… th-cam.com/video/RUeSdkn5SkQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tbgBaTHqJsVzerOy
Hi! The boat tour is a highly rated Airbnb experience that is about $40 usd per person depending on the time of year you are booking. However, As we mention in the video, we have worked with the owners to offer a 15% discount for direct bookings with a coupon code inside our guides. So, for two people, the discount on the boat tour will pay for the Istanbul guide! 😁
Mosques are typically all free to enter. However… we did hear that, starting sometime in January, they will start charging an entry fee for Hagia Sophia to help fund needed repairs… we aren’t sure what the entry fee is going to be or what day exactly they plan to start collecting but it is coming soon…
Hi, loving your videos. I am due to visit kadikoy in June 2023, and would be grateful if you can do a vlog on best value for money prepaid tourist sim card, as I will need to buy one for data to use Google maps. Heard turkcell and turk telekom do one but don't know the price. ❤️
Glad you are enjoying the videos! Just so you know… Our guide is full of all kinds of useful info like SIM cards and tons more helpful stuff that is needed for a trip but maybe not so entertaining to watch on a video 😂 we use turkcell and the coverage is good. If you are just visiting, both company’s usually do a standard package for 1 month that is affordable.
I recommend you to go to the newly built Camlica mosque. The structure and view of the mosque is very beautiful. It is worth seeing. There is a magnificent view of Istanbul from the Camlica hill... I totally agree I can eat Turkish food all day 😍😍😍 😍😍 Every time I come to Turkey on vacation, I come back with weight gain 😎 🤔
Hello, keep up the great work! I see a lot about the historic site and the food, but how about the shopping? Istanbul is a fashion point like Milan and Paris. Where can we buy nice clothes? Note: not the fake brand knockoff around the Bazaar but outside that area? Thanks 😊👍🏼
Awwww that's a shame I've got some disabilities and my memory is really bad I'm trying to book a holiday I wanted it close to the blue mosque but it's just so expensive does the digital guide sort of help cover this some days my walking is ok other days it's not

Not all of them. You can definitely get ice cream from normal shops but most of the touristic areas have the fun “catch me if you can” Ice cream guys! 🤣

Very informative and beautiful video. I was told that infants and toddlers aren’t allowed on cabin cruiser on bosphorus. Is that so?
Will they send carpets to South Africa
HI .. can you please note the name of the yacht cruise from karakoy ? there is no info in the video . thanks .
Thanks for the great video 🎉
Thanks for watching!
Do you have a link or recommendation for the small group Bosphorus tour? There are so many and would appreciate a trusted good operator!
Hello Jessica and Myles. I'm in Istanbul. Where do you suggest I go for traditional Turkish ceramics?
Hi there! We just bought a few items from Iznik works in the Grand Bazaar and they seemed to have a lot of good stuff!
which port did you take the cruise from ?

Trying to figure out how long the ticket/entry lines will be at Hagia Sophia depending on the Peak/Slow tourists season.
