@@LightTherapyInsiders I'm looking for faster results for skin, but i mainly only want to use the red light (not infrared) , do you think it's worth the extra money for the biomax300
Honestly thanks for letting me know about the Hooga 300, looking at the specs, it's already more powerful at 6 inches than the Bestqool one I was eyeing was at 3, and for not that much more money. It's actually a translated review on the Bestqool that recommended this channel funny enough and mentioned the device was weaker than others in its price range. I'd ideally want the Biomax but the price is outrageous. I get that it hits more wavelengths and i really wish i could afford it but i can barely afford this one, the Biomax is unfortunately completely out of my budget.
Trying to make a decision on what to buy …came across video of CELLUMA the original inventors of red light therapy.. torn between buying the recommended panel or one by this company…wanting it for skin face and knee pain… not sure what to buy because I don’t want fat loss in the face and just twisted on what to buy… help please
There are very few (and I don't know of any) cases of facial fat loss. These results are excellent, but I think either of the products you are considering will be beneficial.
I have a Hooga, I notice that when I use it on my face, I have more freckles, and it doesn't do anything for my age spots on my hands. Which I thought it was to do the opposite.
Photography can be very deceptive. In this case the lighting is vastly different in each image of her face. An experienced photographer can spot the lighting differences. The Before image is darker and more contrasty, while the After image, the lighting is very diffuse, soft and brighter. The result is they look vastly different. A softer more diffuse brighter lighting always gives a more appealing result.
That's a valid point. However, she has nothing to gain by posting her experience in the FB group, so I believe she has seen a remarkable change. Please feel free to join and take a look at the posts.facebook.com/groups/lighttherapyinsiders
I just posted a reply like yours before I saw your comment (professional commercial photographer for 24 years.) Maybe the results were impressive but the way they dial in the difference makes me think the results not so remarkable. Could be unintentional but I think any changes are amplified to prove their product is a miracle solution to skin damage.
I unfortunately had the worst flare of brown spots appearing after using a red light therapy face mask (99 LEDs red 633 nm and 99 LEDs infrared 830 nm) , had to return it. Do you think using a panel would have the same effect?
I’m a long time esthetician and I have many red light devices. One thing that is well documented is that some people are prone to more darkening of spots with the NIR. Sounds like that may be the case for you (it is for me) so I would suggest just using the red light only and not the near infra red. Blue light is also known to cause more darkening.
@@pamelavendetti1844 Thank you for taking time to respond! Yes, I believe I am part of those people where that happens. Such a bummer since it is marketed as a device that will actually get rid/help with dark spots and NIR is supposed to have a better anti aging effects. Disappointed that I can't benefit from that. But thanks again for your advice!
Sorry to hear that. Sadly, some people do experience that due to the NIR. Can you shut off the NIR? That is what I recommend. A panel wouldn't be any different, aside from having the ability to shut off the NIR and use the red. Check out this article on website: www.lighttherapyinsiders.com/red-light-therapy-for-skin-benefits/
@@LightTherapyInsiders Thank you Alex for your reply! So if I can only use red light, it doesn't make sense to buy an expensive device that's has NIR as well only to shut it off since there are many red light only lamps/devices out there, which would be cheaper as well right? Maybe that would be an interesting video: Best Red light devices for people who cannot use NIR (which one to choose) and its benefits. Thank you!
I’m having a hard time understanding the right distance for my mitopro 300. I use only at night about 10 min and 6” away from my face at Red only (A) it targets my face and neck. I then hit the back of my neck with 5 min of Red & Infra (A-I) setting and then 5 mins just infra (I) for the knots on my back neck due to driving and online work. I have been using it clean face no serums. It’s been 6 weeks of 4 x a week at night. Is there any changes I need to make. One video said 3-6” for best results. I have decent skin I’m using as preventive. Any advice? I have a question about ampule peels can I use them w red light? Once a week? ALL skin care regimen is after the light treatment before hitting bed at night. Which is retinol .5% followed by a good moisturizer with the right stuff. I don’t use in the morning. No time. But I use vitamin C - moisturizer and sunscreen. What else can I do? Also if I am using the panel do I need to use another device for lips? Like the cure lip red light device? Or not needed. Any serum I should use or can use with red light before the treatment? I always face my face afterwards so I don’t know if it’s recommended even. Long comment but I hope you can answer and someone else like me can benefit.
“Wash my face” after the red light and then put the skin care before end. Just don’t know if those who use the serum wash after the treatment or just add the next steps?
@@sadiqabokhari4007 I just did some research and it seems like for a mitopro 300, we would only need to do about 3-5 mins on our skin so that it'll hit within the 6-15J range for us to get some benefits. I've been using the panel for about 1 month and I feel like my skin did not get better, it only got worse with hyperpigmentation. I've been doing it for 10 mins at 12 inches away, but even then i'm apparently overdosing, so I'm going to cut the time in half so that it is within that range to get the benefits. I hope that'll work
I have some great articles on my website that might help you: www.lighttherapyinsiders.com/red-light-therapy-distance-from-skin/ www.lighttherapyinsiders.com/red-light-therapy-for-skin-benefits/ I don't use any creams or serums and haven't tested any. I recommend asking about serums in my Facebook group:facebook.com/groups/lighttherapyinsiders
Professional photographer/videographer here. The lighting or contrast on those two images seem different. If you compare the small amount of scalp hair you can see how dark the hair is in the before and how light the hair is in the after shot. Maybe there were dramatic results but unfortunately, many manufacturers push the imagery to get more dramatic "results" from the after shot.
These photos were not provided by the manufacturer though. This is a woman in his group shared her experiences. He reached out to ask her what she used.
Sorry Alex, the only thing I see in the pictures is a difference in lighting which is a trick everyone uses to show what a “difference” their products make. If shown in the exact same lighting, in the same pose, that would tell a lot more. But the lighting in the pictures can hide a whole bunch of issues.
That's a valid point. However, she has nothing to gain by posting her experience in the FB group, so I believe she has seen a remarkable change. Please feel free to join and take a look at the posts.facebook.com/groups/lighttherapyinsiders
Some of these have a great range and better than others but still very overpriced such cheap components such as Leds and electronic that are made and assembled in China for little of nothing.
It is the same face. The angles and distance from camera are slightly different but it’s the same face. I can see why you think the eyebrows are different but i think it’s more the case of in the before photo it is not groomed as well as the after photo. It’s definitely the same mouth with the long downturned crease from the corner of the mouth. I turned the brightness up on my iPad and enlarged the photo and on the after photo you can see some trace outlines of the larger dark marks. But besides all of that I cannot imagine that Alex didn’t do his due diligence in inspecting the pictures himself and put his name and reputation on the line.

Thank you for this. I appreciate your research and commitment to accuracy. I really want a device, but I travel and the panels seem large to pack for airline guidelines, yet the face masks do not appear to have the integrity of a larger device. I am gifted with dyscalculia, and as a result, the numbers mean nothing to me. This provides a challenge in deciphering the information. I will keep watching and hope to have the ah-ha moment that leads me to a purchase. I just wanted to commend you on your presentation, neutrality, and clarity. Thanks again. Best regards.
Thanks for the compliment! The panels are definitely too big for airline guidelines and too cumbersome to pack! Have you looked into the Ironforge?

@lighttherapyinsiders I’m using Maysama Pulse40 LED Light Therapy Panel, has both UV & red light. Thoughts on the product?
I am not familiar with this panel.
Hi Alex. What do you think of the Dr. Rajani's PlasmaGLO™ LED Face and Jowl Mask......
and its" science behind the "innovation technology to enhance the distribution of high- quality LED wavelengths. " ??
I haven't tested his product to be able to give you honest feedback.
Could you recommend blue light blocking clip on glasses , I’m on my tablet a lot. Also the most economical small panel . Thank you
Check out his website and use his filters to find the panel that suits your budget and needs.
I would check out the Block Blue Light to see if they have clip ons. Here's a video of smaller panels:th-cam.com/video/sm8F5xe59Iw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=RW60IANA27sQBAkR
What are your thoughts on UVB light, like in the mitolux brand? Have you reviewed this ?Can you point me to one of your videos if you have. Thanks
I am keen to review a few UVB lights, but for now, I have this review. th-cam.com/video/NrPD6ynnThQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=dTJtXkawTUEyWrMQ
I'm looking for the best panel to get fastest results for face collagen production. Is the biomax 300 really that much better than the hooga hgpro300?
Both are good panels; the bio max has more wavelengths and is more powerful. Pick the one that best suits your budget.
Have you reviewed the Helios 2 at all?
I have not, sorry.
These results are excellent, but I think either of the products you are considering will be beneficial.
it even looks like her skin is firmer as well if you look at the chin area.
Yes, it does!
I have a Hooga, I notice that when I use it on my face, I have more freckles, and it doesn't do anything for my age spots on my hands. Which I thought it was to do the opposite.
I think that immediately after using it, my freckles will become more prominent, too.
I totally agree. It’s very often I see before and afters and it’s all about the lighting. People should use the same lighting for both images.
My red light does NOT do that for me.
Which one do u have?
Her results have been remarkable. Everyone responds differently.
Which device do you have?
@@marieaimee5713you are welcome!!
I hope that'll work
I have some great articles on my website that might help you:
www.lighttherapyinsiders.com/red-light-therapy-distance-from-skin/

I don't use any creams or serums and haven't tested any.
Thank you!!!!
These photos were not provided by the manufacturer though. This is a woman in his group shared her experiences. He reached out to ask her what she used.
These were pictures from a member of my Facebook group.
Red light MAKES my hyperpigmentation.
Sorry to hear this. For some people, it does.
Hmmmmm……I have not had similar results. Four years in,almost daily ten minutes sessions.
I believe we all respond differently to any "treatments" we try.
dont red light therapies actually remove fat below the surface over time, aging us?
There are no known studies for facial fat loss.
Some of these have a great range and better than others but still very overpriced such cheap components such as Leds and electronic that are made and assembled in China for little of nothing.
You can also purchase directly from China
That is not the same face. The eyebrows are different. one has a mole, the other does not. Mouth lines are different. Jowls are different.
Thanks for replying. Yes, it is the same person as you pointed out.
