Hey this is great. I just started my pressure washing service and this was a great guide on how to really get started. I need to take a step back and build a web presence. I come from a door to door sales background so when I figured out I could sell jobs to do my self I just hit the doors and started cleaning
I’m glad I came across this video. I have started my own company I have most of it done and I tough I was ready to launch but by watching this video I know for sure that I am not 100% ready. I need a few other things to get done that this video helped me see. Thank you a lot for this great information.
I know this vid may be alittle dated but yo, this right here is the most valuable info that I have seen regarding starting up. Thank you for sharing! Basically, exist before existence. It's like those little rocket boosters on a nasa space shuttle that begin to fire before the countdown ends!
How do you compensate techs and lead techs. To me a lead tech has a rig and jobs assigned to him and potentially a tech. A tech is a helper with little to no experience. I’ve heard of a flat hourly rate or a percent of each job they do. Looking for more specifics. Thanks.
Im in the process of getting everything together, thank you so much for your videos!! im a little nervous, but im tired of the way things have been so this seems like a legit business and im excited.. Thank you again!
I done mines all backwards 🧐.. I got equipment, shirts , business cards and done a few jobs but now I’m trying to build brand awareness with marketing 🤨
It’s a harder to route to go for sure, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make it all the same. Keep in touch. Feel free to ask questions. Email Info@TradeSchoolConsulting.com We can help with your branding
Love the insight but I have one question I already did the opposite from your process do you think I should stop and work on my marketing and insurance first or continue doing jobs and work on marketing and advertising
Same question for me Sir. I have a 2003 F150, small V8 (4.6l). Medium a Size bed , but am thinking about buying a trailer but don’t know what size trailer to get either. Has to be a single axle though. Can’t go any bigger than that. Thank you so much for this video.
I am about to start a business in pressure/soft washing and this vid is so helpful very well presented. Unfortunately I'm not on any social media and will have to learn that side of it seems daunting to me. Do you help guys starting new businesses with these things your talking about or is there a way to get in touch with you? Thanks subscribed
Hi, I lie your explanation Great work great video. I’m in that process of pre-launch. Is there a tutorial on how to get on the Facebook groups and goggle voice mail ? Thanks bro
I’m a Realtor and I really love the business model! I plan to use this for training new agents. My question to you is how often do you pass out your door hangers after the prelaunch period?
Great video man this is amazing information! But I am wondering how would I post content for 30 days if I have no jobs and can’t get any because I haven’t started advertising yet?
Any pressure washer can get it done. I would suggest at least a 4gpm machine. Surface cleaners that go well with your machine is based on a multiple of 4. So a 4gpm machine runs best with a 16” surface cleaner. When getting my first machine and surface cleaner I went with a general pump 18” surface cleaner with a 4 gpm 4000 psi machine. The machine was made of a Honda engine and AR pump.
If your going to spend money look at used equipment first. go to a pressure washing store. If you can’t find a good used one and they don’t have one, they’ll be better equipped to get you a 4gpm that isn’t for residential homeowners
good video bro, these insights are invaluable. i'm just starting my business, have my 1st customer tomorrow. any way we could get a video on like the legal side of things?
You are an impressive individual with lots of great ideas. I’m really glad I stumbled across your channel as I was finally able to purchase my first commercial setup last week. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Thanks for the information, I’m going to follow this blueprint. Moved from the Metro A to central Florida a year ago. Keep up the good work. Deep diving now into the research
Instagram shouldn’t be about before and after photos ever. You want to diversify your content to cater towards the people in your service area and the things that fit into their lifestyle. You can add a few photos or a video in there from cleaning your own home, maybe a neighbor for free, your parents house or a close friend. Examples: Think about other small businesses that are food places you could promote, Wednesday dinner recipes that incorporate something that is locally grown or bought from a local grocery store. Search on Instagram for Peach State Wash for a good example.
Start by selling your job first then renting the pressure washer until you make $1200, then go buy one. Your marketing dollars will already be filling up your schedule by time you get a 4gpm or a good used 5.5. You don’t have to go this route. I wanted to see the company pay for everything and carry no debt from day one. If you have the money and want to skip straight to a machine that’s ok. Just remember that you can own zero equipment and still make money. You can’t use equipment if you don’t have any jobs. Good luck and keep in touch. Great questions!
Google voice is TERRIBLE advice. You can get an independent and fully controllable number for $1 a month. NEVER let Google or your webmaster or ANYONE but you control your key lead flow mechanisms like your phone numbers or domain name and hosting. Buy your own domain and control it, control your numbers and your hosting.
Complete a few jobs and make some small videos or before and after photos. You can also use stock photos as well. If you’re not using a professional business like Trade School Consulting to have a website made be careful with just googling images, you could violate a copyright
Gonna watch this every day until l get everything checked off. Tired of failing/ giving up and starting something new.
This is it.
Best video so far, I can't believe more people haven't seen this. thanks for the advice!
This is great. I'm about to start my business this month. But this looks like a great path. Gonna follow it. We'll see if I can imitate his success.

Do you have to have a business license in Florida to pressure wash?
2 questions: how do you fill instagram without any job pictures?
& how do you start without spending budget on equipment. Thanks

You did $400k in gross sales your first year? And when you say helper, is that an employee or a contractor?
yes. That is correct. Helper is a full time tech, by the end of the year we had a crew lead and two techs plus a sales rep
Great Information!!
Thank you.
I plan on starting a pressure washing business very very soon. I would love to ask some questions whenever you have time!
