Briefly, Chen Xia's parents died when he was very young and thus he used to live with his aunt and her American bf, in which is not a loving couple. He never had one loving moment with his real parents. Period.
My teacher in 3-6 grade was even tougher. She was an old fashioned strict church lady. We all feared her. But she left no one in the class behind. Everyone left her with passing grades.
