Great video as always. We did the Wyoming one last year but signed up late and the spots were sold out so had to camp a few miles outside the main rally grounds. We also missed the opening ceremonies so decided next one I attend I will make it for at least that…maybe York, Pennsylvania. The Utah Wasatch Airstream Club is the best! We have enjoyed many rally’s with them last year as well as this year and are heading out Wednesday for the last one of the year down in LaVerkin, Utah. Good to see our President made your video.
We missed last year in WY as we were well on our way hiking the Appalachian Trail. We truly miss living out there and definitely miss the Utah club. It was great to see John and the whole crew!
Hi guys! First, it was great to finally meet you. This video so wonderfully captured the spirit of the International Rally. You said it many times but the real difference in owning an Airstream versus other RV's is the community... C and I work hard on the Vendors every year and we appreciated how you highlighted many of them that made the rally great. We hope to see you down the road again soon.
Great video! So great to see the Rally. We have a 2020 FC 26RBT. It’s our first trailer ever. We love it. My mom and I bought it and we tow it together. We have a golden too! His name is Hank. I’d love to win the coat for my mom!!! Thanks for sharing your videos!!!
Thank you SgtMaj for another excellent presentation. We have been Airstreamers for 7+ years, and we have never been to a rally or caravan, and you have convinced me that it’s time to change that. I have previously thanked you for your Marine Corps service, but I must also thank you for your Airstream service.
Brad, I have to tell you after I watched this episode I went to the trailer and inspected the shock nuts. Found one missing and two that were loose. Thanks for the tip, I will keep better watch on them going forward. Nice Tip...
Great video... I'm starting to go back to the beginning, episodes to develop my monthly check list as well as update my rig walk around check list...thank you so much for that..Blair , good luck on your upcoming hike adventure. The rally was a 2nd for us and the numbers indicated 40 percent first timers...It starts about the trailers and continues with passionate conversations about travel , lifestyle , and experiences. There are plenty of camping clubs but only tin can tourist 1919 and the Airstream Club have this much History. Thanks Again...Dale n Kat...5 cents a dance
The community is fortunate to have you Brad & Blair! You always have excellent content to share; you have been an inspiration to me as well as a trusted advisor! I wear a Small, and I have a fun trade for you if you are a Medium!
Enjoying your rally experience. Great band! I was concerned that such a large rally would be overwhelming. The community aspect is the best part of these event.
Great video about the rally in Sedalia. We’ve been home for a couple weeks now and it was nice to watch your video and reminisce about the good times we had at the international rally. It was so nice to have a chance to shake your hand and meet you. Keep up the good work.
You were selected as the winner of the jacket!!! Congratulations. Please send us an email to thirteenadventures@gmail.com with your preferred shipping address and we will get it out to you as soon as we can!
I spoke with Dexter axle about the shocks and the nuts that hold them on. They recommend the use of a Stove nut on the shocks. They also said Airstream is the only Company that uses shocks on a torsion axle that they make. The torsion system is the suspension not the shock.
Correct. Im an ambassador for Dexter and have had many discussions about this. The shock helps to dampen these rough roads though. Ive noticed that no other manufacturer uses this system.
I'm commenting not to be entered in the giveaway, but to say how much I enjoyed this video. I hope to own an Airstream someday and would have loved attending the rally. As a woman who would mostly be towing alone, the education and resources provided at these rallies would be so valuable!!! Thanks so much for the insight!
Great video. We hope to attend an International Rally in the near future. On the bucket list for sure. I would love the jacket btw if someone has not already gotten it.
I’m a female and I love the jacket! Thank you, Blair, for modeling it. 😊 Being the youngest of three, I’m all too familiar with hand-me-downs. We hate that we couldn’t make the rally; we still haven’t been to one since we are new to the Airstream family. Alumalina would’ve been our first ever but we all know what happened to the beautiful Western part of our state. 😢 Ocean Lakes is gonna be our 1st AS rally from our regional club. We will definitely be at the 2025 rally in York though. Thank you as well for sharing the rally footage so we could live vicariously through you all. Now we know what to expect next year. Better bring LOTS of money. 😂 Safe travels y’all and we hope to see you guys down the road.
It's so sad about Alumalina! We wanted to attend but Bliar ran the Marine Corps Marathon today and we couldnt be at both places. I hope they can find a place for it next year because we def want to attend.
@@ThirteenAdventures Oh wow, how’d she do? The Marine Corps Marathon is my hubby’s biggest bucket list item but we are both getting up there in age. I think we are gonna settle for the Chesapeake Bay Bridge 10K in 2025. Btw, we enjoyed your interview with Chris and Gina of The Rivered podcast. We hope to meet y’all someday so you can show us the ropes since we are new to the AS family.
She did great! The MCM is a great time. Ive ran it at least 10 times and this was Blairs second time. You can follow all of our daily things on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter. We post daily there and weekly on YT. She finished 35 min faster than her last time. Chesapeake bridge run is pretty fun too! We were in Norfolk for my last two years on active duty.
@@ThirteenAdventures TH-cam is our only "social media" outlet. We gave up all of the others since they're such a time suck. LOL. Congrats to Blair on beating her personal best!
Great video summary of the rally! Not needing the jacket but I’d like to start the buy one/get rid of one strategy at my home as well! Ha. Looking forward to your video about Weigh-Safe. Braxton is a great resource.
First, thank you very much for all you do and sharing your knowledge of Airstream. Just finished watching your video on the rally and caught my attention when you mention notice three bolts or similar missing in one hour of inspection. I am not sure exactly what you were addressing but it sounded very important. Can you please clarify if your were referring to the bolts on the Dexter axles or the suspension portion. Thank you sir.
Thanks for all the rally details Brad. Makes us want to attend. Say, during the video you said you were ‘up on the roof’. How did you get there? We are looking for a good way to access the roof while traveling. Thanks!
Hello! Thanks for watching and your feedback. Concerning the roof, I was actually standing on a ladder for that video but you can see me on the roof in this video: th-cam.com/video/rbCnKS6d7QE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=gykvU_QrVVrqMjDE Also, this is the ladder I use (I lean it agains the road side awning) amzn.to/40ijyFI Hope this helps!
I don’t want the jacket, mainly because we follow the same rule-no new hangers. However, I noticed a Rivian in the background, and it would be great if you could interview someone who owns one. We live in Florida, but when we were out west (you might enjoy the High Lonesome 100, by the way), we saw many Airstreams being towed by Rivians. Owners would charge their vehicles at campsites and travel around the country, taking advantage of free charging.
Nice jacket but it probably wouldn't look as good on me as it does on the stylin' model. There's only one way to know hahahaha. Making our first visit to our local dealer (Can-Am London) in a few days. Got a bad case of 27FBQ on da noggin.
We did not. We were so busy with over 300 people that came to our trailer and the classes Brad taught and other activities, we didnt even go to town once we were parked.
