I've a GSX-R1000 K5, flat bars, fairing lowers removed years ago and just never refitted them. Power commander, Ohlins, Brembo brakes, lots and lots of time and money spent. It is the last of the analogue litre bikes. Then in '21 I bought an Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory. It's amazing how far apart these two bikes are. They are both fast, handle well, stop well, but the Aprilia is faster with less HP on the road because of that clever rider aid package. If you are ever in Berkshire, come and try both of them! Loved the filum mate. More bike content would be brilliant! To those of you who are assuming bikes are scary, they really aren't most of the time. Grab a pillion ride with a skilled rider and you'll love it.

Great Vlog Ben. I only started riding 2.5yrs ago at age of 45. Should have done it 20 years ago. I always nod and it’s a mixed response. Some do. Some don’t. Love a triple engine. I’ve ridden all those roads on this video, usually out to either Coningsby to the BBMF viewing point, or East Kirby to see “just Jane” the Lancaster bomber. Some great roads around there and back towards Lincoln for bikes. Just gotta watch those speed cameras, the one outside the school got me in the car a few years ago, my fault not concentrating.. ride safe Ben! Great video..

More of these Ben I've ridden smaller bikes for years , but after a sudden family berivment I made the promise to my dad and done full test , on an mt 07 lacked power but position was nice , currently have a mint 1 owner 98 honda cbr 600 F every time I ride I'm smiling but I do find myself talking to my self and turn into a little kid safe of course , and the famous nod was tought this by dad and always nod

Omg Ben Chris my hubby has an MT09 in Red he also doesn’t go out in the wet He uses Wurth 20/40 spray on his as it protects against flies sticking it smells nice too (TMI) like you he only gets out when he can Beautiful Bike The investment bike is in the garage and never goes out to play it’s a 1993 L reg Yamaha V-Max full power and unaltered condition so 30 years old with less than15k on Speedo even has a sticker on the back mudguard that says ( Caution passengers are asked to refrain from screaming) lol
This one made me more nervous than your flying videos 😂 I’m scared of heights 🙈 I’ve never been on a motorcycle either, my stepdad has one but I’m too scared to have a go, I’m not great on bicycles so I’d be asking for trouble on a bike with an engine 😬😆 there’s literally no adrenaline junkie in me but I love to see it in others, living their best lives 😀
I’m curious Ben, how does a bike react to pot holes? I’ve hit them in cars and on my road bike (pedal) and always wondered what the big ones do to a bike at speed? You also highlighted two of my biggest bug bears as a motorist. Braking for no reason, and not using indicators at junctions. Proper A hole tactics.
It can be bad if you hit a pothole, the one issue on this bike is that the throttle is so sensitive, I've hit a pothole before that's made me twitch the throttle and I've nearly launched myself off the back of the bike!
great vlog, but bikes frighten me, or the vulnerability.... only two classes of licence that I don't have road roller and bike, definitely not taking either test any time soon!
