- You want some fresh seafood? Star Fish Company strives to serve simple Florida seafood prepared in the simplest of ways. Most items are either fried, grilled, blackened or sauteed. Sides are kept simple, too. There's cole slaw, cheese grits and french fries. Of course, don't forget the hush puppies. The setting for movies and music videos(Shinedown-Second Chance). This is a must for all seafood lovers. Come along with us as we try out the Star Fish Company for the first time.

We noticed on Cindy's meal, that she had two cheese grits. They let you do that instead of getting slaw, without an upcharge? That would be great, and I wasn't aware that I could do that. That will be something for me to remember next time.
I had to smile at the look on David's face, when he hears the words "Now, I won't be offended..." I think he knew where that question was going...Lol.
But seriously, we're so glad y'all had a good experience there. We were a little nervous about it, since we had talked so highly of it. Didn't want them to have an off day when y'all went. But they've always been consistent every time we've been there.
Also, we didn't know that about the house next door, and the scene that was shot there in the kitchen. That was very interesting to find out.
And your daughter's review really summed it up..."Delicious!" Not sure if her name is Carla, or Carly?
Your recommendation to go to Star Fish Company was on point! It was the best food we had on Anna Maria Island. We appreciate the recommendation. We had to give you a shout out after you put us on this place!
It speaks highly of this restaurant that we both gave it such high reviews. I feel that your channel tries to give honest reviews like we strive to do.
Not sure about the cheese grits, we thought we were getting cheese grits and fries. So we are not certain about the upcharge. We did notice on the menu later that the hushpuppies were considered a side. They were a favorite of ours and we would consider them as a side next time. We actually went back and ordered a side of them because they were so good.
The lady behind the counter told us about the video and movie being filmed there. Super nice lady and staff! Carly is our mac and cheese girl and she loved this so much so you know it was good!
