How to Get Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Cheap - Do This EASY Upgrade Trick

- Would you like to know how to get Xbox Game Pass Ultimate cheap? Here I'm sharing with an awesome Xbox Game Pass Deal where you can get Ultimate for WAY Less. I start out simple and show you how you can save a good amount on just one month of Core or Ultimate. But follow my video and you can get 17 months of Ultimate for £84.07, which works out as less than £5 a month! The upgrade I show is offered by Microsoft, so take full advantage while you can.

Buy the 1 month codes to save easily. Or follow along in the video if you want to get the less than £5 a month deal for spending £84.07 initially. I don't see anything wrong with this method. Microsoft are simply offering a good deal to upgrade your game pass to Ultimate once you've activated Core. Get yourself a great deal whilst it's on!

just to continue the update for people. I did this (in the US) 3 years plus the 1 month ultimate. Still works to the day of this comment. Game Pass is getting a price hike (if it didn't already) so anyone thinking about this should do it soon.

@@tangentdoespvp9882 I did it with my main account. Game Pass was expired and time to renew. Instead of renewing, I followed this guide (This guide follows a 2 year. But based on what others commented I did 3 years of Game Pass Core and 1 month of Ultimate)

I just did this everyone. At the end of applying the ultimate code make sure you have recurring billing ON. This will save you an extra month and you can just turn recurring billing off right after. I made this mistake, please don’t
Thank you very much for help, I bought game pass core for 12 months and game pass ultimate for 1 month and in total I get Ultimate for 27-04-2025 so I lost only 3 months but saved around 200PLN around 60£ you are a life saver!

Just to confirm - 3 years works - converts to 25 months. Not as good as the old 1:1 conversion but still better than full price! cheers.

I just did this today (July 22, 2024) in the US. I got 3 years of Core and 1 month of Ultimate, now my ultimate subscription is good until August 26, 2026!

I have a question: on cdkeys it says the only option for game pass core is the Microsoft platform ones and not the xbox platform ones? Did you buy the Microsoft one and is there a difference?
@@Andqxi The ones I bought are green, had Microsoft at the top with the Xbox logo under it. Under the Xbox logo it says Game Pass with a small box under it that says Core and under that it says 12 months. I don't know if this is what you are looking at, but I hope it helps. Also, make sure you get the ones that are compatible with the country you are in.

I just have a question, I saw on CD keys that there are discounts for gamepass, does it make sense to buy the keys now and wait for my current subscription to expire (July 20, 2024) or are the keys to be redeemed within 24h? Can I wait a month?
Glad it helped. I don't think codes expire. Just make sure the codes aren't used by someone else. ie keep them secure where no-one else can access them.

Yup. That's what I pick in the video. Microsoft just offers a deal to take into account you're existing Core pass.
How do i still do the 3:2 conversion if I’m in the middle of a game pass core subscription? Should i just do the same steps but only buy 2 years of core and then convert or do i have to cancel my current subscription and then do the steps in the video?
As you only have core, I would think it will happily still allow the conversion. I am not 100% as I've never tried it, but I would think if you added more core then the convert it should be OK. If you do it, please let us know how you get on?

If you're close to expiry, you could buy the vouchers and then use them when your pass has expired. I assume it would work in India, but I have no way to test.

It still works. I would only go 2 year or 3 year core myself as who knows where gaming will be past that point?

No. It's part of the offer Microsoft give. But as I show in the video, it's easy to unsubscribe once you've applied the deal.
Should I get a third year or just stick with 2 years? which is more cost effective
3 years works out slightly more cost effective by a few Pounds I think. I went with 2 as I felt it's a fairly safe bet things will stay similar for 2 years with Microsoft. But 3 years, I'm not sure. There might be a new console or a switch in direction. I would think some sort of Game Pass will still exist though. I think Microsoft are honourable enough to still offer good return on subscription if they are allowing people to buy years in advance. Hope that helps.

I believe so long as you don't have an active subscription when you start, it should work fine.

Under a year won't give you any great deal. Really the sweet spot is converting 24 or 36 months as per the video.

Was buying two years part of the exact process, or can you do three years, four, etc?
I didn't test beyond 2, but I would think it would work for longer. I'm not sure exactly how much longer though. My thought was who knows where Game Pass will be in two years, so I was happy to speculate that period of time. In 17 months, I'd be surprised if we don't see something change from Xbox either to Game Pass or perhaps a new console.

3 years is the most you can have active at once
I'm thinking of a cheaper way rather than pay £8.49 for ultimate you can upgrade on xbox console for £1 not sure if this works? But I will try this method when the time comes.
I don't think that offer will show up because you have to upgrade a core subscription. So it won't show if core is active.

Yep. But you won't be able to extend it. There is the concern the offer will be blocked at some point so the point about going for 2 oe 3 years is to protect yourself from the deal being stopped at some point or prices going up further.
Can pc gamepass be converted to ultimate ?
I'm not sure. But I'd just let what you have expire as Ultimate gives you PC games too...
