Friend, I've been wanting to do this modification with my Mustang Sonic that I bought a few months ago. Could you share with me the bridge template and the diagram for the switches?
The price of vintage 60's fenders are way over priced, and these newer squires are the same 1990's Mexico fenders ... so even tho I got 40,000 of instruments in my room, I still gotta be honest and say that some of these squires I've played could replace my fenders
Hey man that looks and sounds AMAZING!!! I have both a Sonic and Bullet that I want to add the tremolo and bridge simply for cosmetic purposes so it looks more like a Mustang. I want to remove the cigar bar and lock it down. Can you tell me what tremolo unit and bridge you used and where you purchased it from? Thanks
I have some pictures of the finished guitar on my instagram instagram.com/cavershamguitars/ I had to shim the neck slightly but the action is great for me as good as my jag-stang.
Yes dude! Ive been looking for this! Im doing it this weekend!

I bought my first 1965 fender mustang in 1998 for 350 dollars and bought my 1996 Fiesta red jag stang used in 1997 for 249 dollars
Damn ur lucky Jag stang prices even used are crazy ASF
@@billcahm yeah, my first fender was a 1964 fender mustang, got it for 200 in 1991

I think the pups in the Squire sonic mustang are great. I had to rewire it for the classic out of phase sounds though.

@@mattdigennaro9856 it's just a cheap trem from Amazon. It cost about £12.
Great job ! Very interesting video ❤
Thanks! I appreciate it.
How deep did you have to drill and route?
I can't remember. I just measured the parts and added a few mm to that.
@CavershamGuitars I guess as long as nothing goes all the way through the body?
@@seangladish2539 That's why you measure the bodys depth first. That way you know how deep you can't go.
How did it turn out? Any intonation or tuning issues?
No issues with either. It's as good as my 1996 Jagstang.
You have any details with bridge in and the action on the strings?

@@CavershamGuitars awesome! I got shims coming too! Thank you!
@@brushlak8173 No worries. Let me know how it goes!
The sound of the router at 10:40 made me think of the dentist. Not cool!
What the? I really love my ventura 2 competition mustang
