I had a MIJ Fender Mustang and it was definitely thicker than the Bullet Mustang I own now. Bullets came with rosewood fingerboard before 2019/20 and after only in certain finishes like black, the olive greenish one and the yellow competition. Others were equipped with laurel fingerboards. Bodies were made out of poplar, like Sonics. The lack of body cuts in the newer Sonic models is an attempt to reduce production costs by Fender (like for the original '60s model). The stock wiring of Bullets is made without effort because they used 250k pots with humbuckers making the guitars sound nosy and flat. Almost all Bullet colors came with 1ply pickguard.
At 5m53, in the product description on the Amazon website, scale length is listed at 24.75"... is that another misinformation? Isn't supposed to be 24.0"?
I've often found misinformation in Specs for too many products, so if in doubt, best to check multiple sites. Especially manufacturer's page, but even that is sometimes wrong. ;( I think it should be 24" scale.
Yes, the bodies are thinner. Especially notable is the heel joint

Fender has the Lime Green SS and black hh on sale for $139!
I ordered the black. It was a hard decision. I have no humbuckers so I got the black.
Excellent Thanks for the info.
I might go for the Squier Sonic Stratocaster HT

They are a Great Guitar got the Bullet
Some say the sonic''s neck is better built. If not, it's just a major downgrade for a bigger price
Amazon is now selling 24" Squier Strats. Not Minis. In between the Mini and standard scale.
Amo combos only. Amazon only.
Wth??
Weird, better double check specs with Fender or other sites if you have a different model#.
Sonic also has a 24" scale length as opposed to the 25.5" on the Bullet. That's a major difference.
«Mustang» has a 24" scale length,
25.5" on the «Stratocaster» and «Telecaster», this is different forms of guitar
All Mustangs and Jaguars are 24” scale guitars.
@joshuadupuis346 Yes. My mistake. I was thinking of my Bullet Tele.
@ would love to buy a Fender Japan Telecaster Junior. All the Fender Japan Junior series guitars are 24” scales like the Jag.
