this is very out dated. you should make another video going into extreme depth on data background, permissions, apps that draw over, and how to permanently disable unwanted apps from bloatware to system level unnecessary apps using the disabler pro app for Samsung. etc etc...there is so much more that can be done.

Was alway jealous of G2 and G3 on how fast they opened apps and once in memory how fast they switched between apps. Now I think my note 3 is faster. Use nova launcher with scrolling set to "faster than light" and this phone sings. Thanks
One problem with the 0.5x speed in the Developers Menu is that, if you turn off it, those three settings revert back to 1x instead of staying as you put them.

Great vid, without these changes the phone felt very slow and unresponsive!! I have just changed from the One S and it felt slower than a 3 year old phone! Next to the One M8 it is miles slower, but now it's responsive and snappy again thanks! The HTC One M8 is still faster and less jerky but I'm hoping Lollipop will make it better still. Sense is definitely better than Touchwizz though and Samsung need to sort this.

U can use S Finder, which can be found on the notification pull down or type the name of the app on Google(the app) and it should search your device and give the app.

I had had the Note 4 for years now that may be half the issue. Now when going from home screen to contacts it freezes and I will but it up and five minutes finally hit the contacts area. Not sure what is causing this delay but up to this point it has never done this. I also have noticed sometimes out of no where it will reboot. Anyone know what I need to do to get this back to normal state or it it time for a new phone?

lmfao I truly doubt it. my note 4 scored 20504 on 3Dmark benchmark out of the box. only high end tablets scored higher. lolol
I've heard that lollipop has made things much snappier, hopefully it'll be the same on Snapdragon models when its released

For the annimation scale, just change it to 0. It does not really matter from day to day activity.
