Can you make a video on accommodation for international student?? Like what all the options are and what would be the average rent???That would be really helpful for a lot of people!!!
Nice video. I was in Irvine 2018 for several month and we‘re looking forward for coming again for about 1 year and several month. I hope we can manage to move to Irvine completly one day. We‘re from germany btw. I felt in love with the city of Irvine back than and cant wait to visit it again
Hey Regina! :) Its hard to tell honestly. Our stay was in Gabrielino dr. and what I can tell is that what I‘ve seen around there in videos (aldrich park, sundays market nearby etc.) it seems to stayed the same. Which is great! I noticed some changes around the spectrum centre, but based on covid and the winter decorations hanging on that was no surprise:) I‘m glad you are making these videos. They are informative, have great footage and they manage to give me the same feeling I had when I visited Irvine - perfect while covid restrictions hitting hard in germany rn. Bless
Yup, I can attest to the cost of homes in the Bay Area. Median sales price in Santa Clara County (ie: Silicon Valley), San Jose specifically ($1.2m)...I am glad I made the move to Irvine, CA. I still work for a Silicon Valley tech company, but I don’t pay Silicon Valley living ☺️
Thanks for the information. I've been wanting to move to Irvine for about 5 years, we live in New Jersey. I'm concerned about the costs of everything there but I think it's worth it for everything you get, like nice weather and outdoor activities. We would probably rent first
Yency, if you want to get more in depth info specific to your family situation before making any decision, I'd love to chat with you and share what I know🙂 You can schedule a call with me here calendly.com/reginachenrealty
@@ReginaChenRealtor Family of 3 here. We’re planning on moving to Irvine in June. I live in northern VA at the moment. We’re not planning on buying a house in Irvine but rather to rent. Is that something you can help us with? Thank you 😊
Could be difficult for the kids or younger generation to live near parents later in life. Happens a lot in expensive areas. Relatives often get priced out of the area.
Yes, you can afford to live in Irvine. There are many affordable apartments in Irvine. It's no more expensive than other parts of Orange County or the South Bay!! One major problem is that the homeless population is starting to move into Irvine and the police are helpless to stop them. I'm seeing homeless all over the city of Irvine now because OC has literally one of the highest homeless populations in the state.
If you are looking to rent one room in a multiple bedroom property, it’ll be around $1,000/month. If you are sharing a bedroom with roommate(s), it can be between $600-800, depending on the room size, how many roommates and bath room situation. Your best bet is to go your school’s student community page on social media (Facebook) to find affordable housing post and/or roommates.
Great Video, Thanks So Much Regina

Thanks Lexie! Based on the videos you watched, is Irvine any different now compared to 2018? Just curious 😃

Very informative video! With 2 kids in daycare at $28k a year, I can sadly confirm the high cost.
How much are you making a year lol
