Hyundai Tucson 2020 review: Highlander

The Hyundai Tucson lists for $46,500, comes with a five-star ANCAP rating, a braked towing capacity of 1600kg and standard features such as wireless charging, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, sat nav, leather upholstery and a panoramic sunroof.
Richard Berry road tests and reviews the Hyundai Tucson Highlander with the 1.6-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine which makes 130kW and 265Nm.

Verdict
The changes to the 2020 Tucson are few, but important - the extra safety equipment added to the lower grades is great news.
Despite being a few years old and a new-generation Tucson coming by about 2021, the current SUV is a great workhorse that has served my family well in the form of a long-term test car and more recently in these week-long stints in the updated model.
Parents will like the hard-wearing materials and wipe-clean surfaces, and I reckon everybody will appreciate the city friendly size while staying fairly spacious on the inside.

Thanks for at least mentioning the active safety features. But what would be really great would be to review at least two of them: active cruise control and lane keep assist. These two go together like bread and butter for less tiring highway cruising. Are all cars the same? I suspect some are better than others.

$46k for hyundai tucson 2020. here in the USA the fully loaded Ultimate is only $33k to $35k
