I lived in Germany near Rammstein as a kid, and loved seeing F-4's and A-10's flying low like that frequently. It's always so amazing how much bigger they are than you'd think, and feeling the pressure as they go by. Being a fighter pilot must be the most exhilarating job on the planet.

I was in the fleet air arm. One of the most amazing experiences i had was during a naval exercise off Gibraltar in the mid 80's .Standing on the flight deck of the carrier i was serving on , all of a sudden out of nowhere 4 buccaneer fighters screamed past so close and below flight deck level that i could see the pilots from above. it was awesome. This video bought it all back to me, thankyou for posting .
My dad was stationed in Germany during the late 70s to the early 80s as a flight simulator technician. Which meant that if the Air Force wasn't using the simulator, my brother and I could. At the time the base had F-15Es. What an awesome piece of machinery. I miss seeing them every day.
F-15Es were never stationed in Germany. In Fact - the E Model only entered service starting in 1988. Bitburg AB, Germany had the F-15 C/D Model but they transferred to Spangdalem AB, Germany in 1994. You may be thinking of the F-15C/D model as they would have no need for the E model Sim in Germany. Spent 4 years with the Vipers out of Ramstein AB from 97-90 and never saw an F-15E stationed in Germany. F-15C/Ds, A-10s, F-4s, F-16 C/D, C-130s, and SAMM aircraft for DVs are all I remember being in country.

When I got home, found out Collings Foundation was holding an event. Went the next day. Got some really nice video of the aircraft, especially the B17, before crashed a few years back. Great Video, the F15's are awesome, heard they upgraded some so they can keep flying and not be obsolete.
Right after the First Gulf War, an aerial display of the jets used was at an airshow in Titusville, Florida. My daughters, some neighborhood kids, and I were sitting on the grass by the tarmac, never expecting them to pass within a 100', just off the ground. The noise, rush of air, and speed were incredible. I would have waved to the pilots but couldn't take my hands off my ears. All the kids agreed it was their best day. What an airshow!

Incredible shots but the one at 5:41got me!! 🙌🏻🤣
Happy you liked them
Thank you!!
I grew up in Nörvenich, about 2 km away from the air base. Even then I was never able to take pictures like that. The material you shot there is simply breathtaking.
Thanks again Dafydd for that "adrenaline rush"!
Thanks mikey.
Just absolutely beautiful! Amazing views, It would be a dream to witness this in person !!
Fighter jets get me so pumped this is so awesome!!!
Same here!
Thanks for watching
Watching this on a 75” 4k tv phenomenal OMG I lost count how many times I replayed this freaking awesome 👏
What a beautiful video ..... Hands down ... Absolutely Awesome!!!!😳
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for watching.
Used to see this when camping in Wales years ago, never got bored of it. Shell island was close to the base so quite a few morning we'd wake to see a jet just descending above a cliff face.
The incredible power when an F15 is near you is felt to your bones.
Indeed ✈️👍
Such magnificent aircraft and such stunning scenery.
Thank you so much for the footage and photos.
Just think - that's a 1/4 of the speed the F-15 and F-35 can go. Great pictures!!
Accidentally stumbled across this video and have to say it’s fantastic and has me feeling very nostalgic thinking back on my RAF days. Your camera work is top notch 👌
those f-35s are so freaking cool looking.
Wow, super pictures.
Long time since I was at the
"Mach Loop". Thanks 👍
Thank you!!
5:39: "Hi mom" 🤣

Once again some fabulous close up shots and I just loved the one with "Hi Mom" note
Many thanks
@@DafyddPhillips If I recall from another video that had that photo/video of her, didn't you sent her a print of it?
Great video as always!!! The F-35 jocks are starting to get down low finally. Still have a ways to go to get down to Eagle heights. 😂😂😂
Thanks Tony, the lower the better ✈️✈️👍
The two f35’s at the end flying close formation was pure badass
Extremely mind-blowing. Fantastic.
Thanks for watching.
Dude, that vantage point and the top notch photography! Wow
Thank you!!
I was stationed at Lakenheath RAF for a bit. Place in the village best fish n chips ever
