he hated poison right up until that boss fight, where his 1 poison card put in more work than anything else in the deck he's still new, so he just doesn't catch the signs of when the game is giving you a certain run, he would be kitted OUT right now if he went poison heavy.
@@DragonMagiccircle Pretty sure hed taken some dmg anyway, dont remember exaktly how str works, but its not 1 dmg for 1 str. But he could have done str and then a def, but doing the str reduction whould have exausted it and could have been more effective later. Exaust is tricky.
@@bimi3783 as the boss have 6 times 6 attacks its way more effective to save and try to get in that situation. So itd be 0 times 6. If hed use it in the time mentioned itd defend 6 dmg wich he could have defended in otherways. Saving it whould give it a chance off popping up later when its more needed. Like against a 6 times 6. Wich is 36 dmg turned to 0. Been a while since i played. But i have a fair few hours logged. And iv beeten the end boss. Well as it was then. So i know how exaust works. But given 6 dmg aint that much compaired to 36. Sure hed have a small chance of not exausting but crap ods. He underestimates the power of poison. So still pretty green.
things to note on poison.... it goes through armor and can be insane if increased/ built up , a lot of bang for the bucks ....6 poison = 6+5+4+3+2+1 damage over those 6 turns
"Infinite Blades" (at the start of each turn, add a Shiv to your hand. Shiv's are 0-cost, deal 4 damage and exhaust when played) is a great card, especially when paired with Mirrored Image (whenever you play a card, gain 1 block).
When upgraded it becomes innate which means you start with it. I had a run with three of these upgraded and the relic that makes 0 cost things do 3 more damage. So I had a guaranteed 21 damage per turn.
Poison is one of the best archetypes available to the Silent. If you accumulate enough block, then enemies'll just die of their own accord while you take little to no damagios.

No. A misplay is when the player does something wrong. In common usage, when the play was obviously wrong to us, but not the player. Though, it is ALSO usually because the player is trying to do something else. Like entertain us.
So the "space whale" is, 1: a female creature, 2: a creature you are told about and hinted towards through encounters that seem really out of place and sudden, like the forbidden book, council of ghosts, etc. so... yeah

One of the most broken builds in slay the spire is the poison build and you don't need many cards to make it work. Not sure why you have such a hatred of any card that has poison written on it. P.S. building an entire deck on a coin flip relic is a terrible plan.

Yup. 6-6=0 damage from each of them. (Turns out later that he didn't know negative strength was a thing, which explains this.)

Exaust is tricky.
Wikied it, its 1 point of dmg per str, but kinda a crap moment to use it against a 6dmg attack, better with a 6x6 attack then.
