I bought the new Model 3 Performance Highland and also had a 2022 M3P and I can honestly tell you the car feels so much better!!! The suspension is so much better, the cabin noise is so much better ! Even the way door closes is like a Lexus and definitely a big difference. It’s faster too. New Interior ventilated seats and ambient lights are awesome not to mention the updated front and rear bumpers and lights. Definitely worth the wait! Those buying the old Model Y will so regret it once the new one comes out. You will immediately feel like selling it only to realize the value of the old body style will have lost thousands due to the new model you will wish you waited. Who likes the feeling when a new bodystyle car pulls up next to you at a stoplight that looks better when you just bought your car a few months ago! Awful feeling!
With all due respect mate :) it’s not a Lexus and never will be :) I have both; trust me only thing Tesla is better at is - range, storage space and some hype… On top Sexy stuff, buttons, tunings and other investments you have invest into Tesla to get even near to Lexus experience :) I have even seen suckers doing 3,5 kUSD PPF, which is like 10% of car value on those :) for fucks sake it’s not Bugatti 😂Elon is definitely good at marketing ;)
I'm waiting for the Juniper. If you buy one of the current models, it will forever be the slightly older style and look that's been there for the last 5 years. Supercharging isn't worth much to me since I charge 95% at home
I’ve done exactly that , ordered on Sunday MYLR in midnight cherry red and picked up 6 days later. Great deal and 1 year supercharging. Can’t get better than this.
After having a 72 plate Y and a now Highland M3, I’d say get the new one if you can. Suspension is a huge improvement. The new battery is allegedly bigger so more range. No stalks (you don’t need them). My M3 came with 15k miles of free supercharger use. Better wheel covers (easy to clean). Many minor updates that add up to a much more polished product. Like Elon says, any model that is six months newer, it will be the better car. Tesla make step changes frequently unlike ICE manufacturers where they update 4 yearly. It’s your choice either way. Superb cars.
@@MrPindie thanks for your comments I agree about the car improves every 6 months. I had a 2022 Model Y Long Range and when I got the 2024 ModelY Performance I noticed the suspension was night and day better than my Long range. And the cabin was a lot quieter
Should be getting my Quicksilver AWD LR in two weeks. Been tempted to switch to the Model 3, but the MY overall fits my needs better for just a bit more money. Also, I like the 3rd row option.
