    Tatyana hats off and kudos to this wonderful tiramisu cake roll. I made this 2 days ago for my coworkers and it was a smash hit! two days later they are still raving about it. thank you so very much for sharing. I was the one that had trouble with cake roll being dry and you said that it was probably not made correctly and you were gentle in commenting on it that's when I decided to try your recipe and it's a keeper :)

    You've made a really great video. The jelly roll shape is so much more visually interesting than the traditional tiramisu. My only worry is rolling the sponge cake because I've had some disasters attempting that in the past. I would finely grate up a bar of dark chocolate to use as the topping decoration instead of the cocoa powder. Tiramisu is usually best when made a couple of days in advance and I assume this jellyroll would also be better since the flavors would all meld together if sitting for a day or two. Thank you for the great video.

      Jelly roll is challenging (it can crack easy) without being soaked, it does require some experience....

      alena movchan Yes, that should work but line the pan with parchment paper so the cake doesn't stick!

    Thanks for sharing looks so easy but I made one today I don't know the sponge cake didn't roll too well I don't know 😭maybe I should try it again till I get it right.

      So sorry the recipe didn't work well for you. If cake is breaking apart, try adding an additional 1/4 cup flour to the batter. Roll the cake as soon as you take it out of the oven, don't let it cool down

    Hi Tatyana. Great video and recipe, which I'm about to try. I was wondering what the size of the jelly roll pan you're using in this video is? I don't have one of those, so I guess I have to use the baking sheet that comes with the stove/oven. Will that be too big?

      +Linda Håkanson I believe I used a 12x20-inch pan for this recipe. The dimensions can be changed, that's not a problem! :)

      I'm so glad you enjoy my recipes! That's a great idea! Maybe you can replace the frosting with my whipped cream frosting recipe, which includes sweetened condensed milk :)

    what is your dimension of the jelly roll pan you are using for the recipe my roll pan dimension is 15.25inches x10.25 x.75 inches is it fine with your recipe should I go out and buy another sheet pan?

      Mine is close to that, too. You definitely don't need to buy a new pan! You're will work just fine! :)
