Indian civilisation is in dire need of intellectuals like Adv. Deepak who are pointing out the underlying principles behind practices and traditions of our culture. Marxist, liberal, (post)modern narratives have been thrashing our indigenous culture since independence (after centuries of foreign rule) and there has been lack of well articulated arguments, presentation of hard facts which, quite fortunately, can be seen coming to light in recent times, with the effort of thinkers like him.

Instead of protecting our scriptures from the left and the post modernist idiots, we should use it. Lokayata should be our Marxist defence. Vedanta should be our post modernist defence. We need to read them. Learn संस्कृतम् and start reading the 4 million manuscripts that dwarf the 40,000-100,000 Latin and Greek manuscripts.

First thing everybody should understand that Sanatana Dharma is not a religion it is natural way of living.. Each and every living being in this universe is Sanathani by default Including human irrespective of forcefully implanted belief system by immeture foreign Idilologies. Foreign Idilologies divides Human society into Belivers and Non-believers and have target of Converting Non-believers either by terrorism or by giving some materialistic temptations by encashing difficult situations in life for conversion. Those foreign ideologies promotes narrow minded belief system based on single book single messenger..
Whereas for Sanatana Dharma there is no need of conversion because each and every human being by birth is a sanathani... As per Sanatana Dharma no one is outsider as sanatani we see God in each and every autom of this universe.. We can create our own Ista Deva (Favourite God) there is no restrictions on dress code there is no compulsion to pray... It will never restrict thinking power of human...
As per Sanatan Dharma eachi and every living being or material on this earth has its own special characteristic which is called Dharma for example bird has the power of flying, tiger will hunt, fishes having ability to swim, human being having ability to think, deer can run faster..... Etc This Dharma helps respective creatures to survive in the nature... Each and every living being which comes to the earth should die one day (jatasya maranam dhruvam)...
As per the Karma (action) each and every creature will get Karma phala (results)... So here we can see that Sanatana Dharma is natural way of living it is not a religion based on narrow minded belief system

Child marriages were an effective way to make children mentally ready and responsible of a foreknown life partner and avoid kids from trying to replace the partners' position with a new person during the years to come. The child marriage here is not equivalent to Mohammad marrying 9 year old Aisha, it is literally marriage or promise b/w children.
I don't deny that very older men were married to young girls or vice versa here throughout history in the name of ritual but it is true that none of these practices are supported by the philosophies in Sanatana Dharma.

LMAO. You hate the resurgence and it's context. So, you use an analogy to say it's just rhetoric. He's not repeating anything he conveys in each sentence. He's an intellectual. You have good point to rebut? Or is it just rhetoric or opinion.

    • @Abdurrahman-cv9sc
      @Abdurrahman-cv9sc 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@naiyayika I did not use any analogy neither did I say he has repeated anything, you need to look up for the meaning of "rhetoric" on Google. And when a person while commenting takes the help of "Lol" or "lmao" in the beginning or the ending of his comments then all it does is that it conveys that this person hasn't really got anything substantial up his sleeves and is simply messing around to waste his worthless time on TH-cam (as is the case with most of the Hindu trollers nowadays). But since you asked me whether I have got an argument to counter anything that this ignoble "intellectual" has said then let me take into consideration his blatant allegation against a certain Muslim ruler from the past ruling the part of India where this "intellectual" happens to come from. He says that Hindu women used to do purdah there just because this ruler and his entourage was in the habit of picking up any woman they liked from the street in order to have their way with her. This fairly tale sounds so funny and childish, first of all, if a ruler is able to wield so much power upon his subjects that he can randomly pick up any woman from the street with the aim of satiating his sensual desires then it would be even more easy for him or his entourage to impose such a ban upon these women that they aren't allowed to do purdah with objective of hiding their beauty from him (as had been the case in certain parts of India where upper caste used to ban women from the lower caste from wearing anything above the waist and used to ogle at those women when out on the streets). And this pseudo intellectual of yours has used this fairy tale as a reason for the practice of purdah system amongst the Hindu women in that particular part of the country (an attempt to appease and apologize to the West of course). Now I am asking if this ruler was only present in a certain part of the country for a certain period of time, then how does his "alleged" perversity explain the fact that almost all Hindu women from almost all parts of India used to abide by the purdah system? I guess this alone is enough to prove that this guy is another shameless individual, participating in peddling lies against my religion and my people in order to reinforce the hatred that has already reached dangerous proportions. He is not an "intellectual" in any sense of the word, he is just an updated version of Sambit Patra and just like him he is most certainly going to end up humiliating himself nationwide. Also, I honestly tried to search about this particular Nizami Ruler but all I could come accross was this
      www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/magazine-24159594.amp
Yet another instance of so called "tolerant" religion's real face, an uninhibited shamelessness in resorting to violence and butchery to steal a piece of land, a carbon copy of what happened recently in Delhi where police personnel participated in the butchery and arson with "tolerant" religion goons. And trust me it won't take much effort to deconstruct his other laughable theories such as "Hinduism relied on oral tradition because they believe in a person's integrity and honesty and therefore this religion is a supreme and honourable religion of all". Take this argument out of India to assert your religion's superiority on such non sensical basis and see the type of laughs and jeers that you are going to get in response. And please don't think that I have cowered away if I don't respond after this, because I am not in the habit of participating in a discussion where the arguments are formed around such banal and non sensical lines

@@Abdurrahman-cv9sc As to why only in one particular part of the subcontinent? Well, historically speaking the south was substantially independent and also the north east and there is part of Rajasthan and other states even Hindu women put on purdah, whereas the Hindu women of the south don't. Even Keralite women have a peculiar attire that don't cover their entire body like a penguin.
And what happened in Delhi recently being a religiously motivated action for land is a new story. I'll tell it to my cousins when they want go to sleep faster.
I won't beat around the bush.
As for his point, yes. Women of Dharmic faiths wore purdah because there's no possibility of knowing when the Nizam or an Islamic ruler or an courtier would pick a woman walking by. Slaves were common as the rule was Sharia and rape was a bonus.
Try and read "Mediaeval India" by Satish Chandra. He says that the practice of keeping women in seclusion came with the Arabs and the Turks and become a widespread practice from 1206, the period of the Delhi Sultanate. The growth of purdah among women is also attributed by him to Hindu women fearing capture by invaders during a time women were treated a prizes of war. This is documented. So I don't where you got the reference to basically this is BS.

@@Abdurrahman-cv9sc And since you said it won't be hard to deconstruct the "laughable" theory of oral tradition do so. And while doing so, I'll give a touch of what it actually is before you try to find info about how this is not the marvel it is so that your ego is satisfied.
The fact is Non-Hindu scholars who have studied Hinduism have been astounded by the sophistication of the techniques used to orally preserve the Vedas. See, for example, Frits Staal’s The Fidelity of Oral Tradition and the Origins of Science (1986), in which he notes that “Prodigious energy was expended by ancient Indian culture in ensuring that these texts were transmitted from generation to generation with inordinate fidelity.” See also Pierre-Sylvain Filliozat’s Ancient Sanskrit Mathematics: An Oral Tradition and a Written Literature (2004), in which he notes that memorization of the Vedas included eleven different styles of recitation of the same text - forwards, backwards, with every other syllable or word swapped, etc., such that each version could be ‘replayed’ and tested against the others, and even a single syllable’s variance would be detected and fixed. And this proves that the fact that more reliance on the character of the individual over and above reliance on books is unique to the Dharmic way. Call me far right for being nativist, I don't care. I'm a proud dharmic. Fact is that's why the Brahmins were revered for being the storehouse of knowledge covering 1,000s of pages and more. I being a Rig Vedic Srauta Smartha Shaivite Iyer focus only the rig vedic Upanishads and Prasthanayi. Yajur vedins and Sama vedins have their respective branches.

@@Abdurrahman-cv9sc PS Sambit Patra is a spokesperson who drags debates, that's his job. How he fits here is something I'll never know. It's not the first time Muslims use BJP and associated elements in almost every debate. Proves they're doing a good job. 🙇 The arrogance is making me sweat.
