- In this J Sai Deepak latest, he explains the dangerous consequences of state control of Hindu Temples in India and why Hindu temples must be freed from state control.
Most Hindus are happy to tolerate the presence of the state in the temple as long as state does not interfere in their religious affairs. Most Hindus don't understand and live under the naive belief that the state will control only secular aspects. How is that even possible? If the money is in their hands, the ability and the power to appoint people to different positions is in their hands, your security is in their hands, how do you hope to have the freedom only with respect to religious affairs.
Because what you believe are the secular aspects, are the ones that give you the power to invest in the society. Money if it is secular, is the one that gives you the ability to invest in your community. So how can that essential aspect be in the hands of the government.

I realise the pain that being a majority in our own country how we are exploited daily for our beliefs and traditions.They know that Hindus can't stop coming to Jagannath Temple, Tirupati temple as we are highly attached to our Bhagwan so without any single thought they keep looting our own money in the name of state control.Most of the mathas have been converted to government land and given to butchers.They are daily demolishing small Hindu temples just because they don't give them high revenues in the form of Chadhawa.It is happening just because we are not united and we are so weak that we fear of our death, we are busy in our day to day life having no time for Bhagwan but this is a sad part that they are using our money for stopping us to practice our own Sanatan.I request our lawyers to file cases against these government and urge people to oppose these exploitation on the local level.

Also, since god is omnipresent, all should keep an idol at home and pray. Why go to temple? Also, if you can afford it, gold plate the idol at home and wash it with milk everyday. God will be very happy.

J Deepak deserves a big salute. Beautifully exposed the intentions of the government. Jajia tax still in practice by the government. Why should the government collect taxes from the temples and lavish it on other religions specially on madarsa and incentives to maulvis. A temple also requires amount for renovation and salary for the priests. Hope so, our government will notice it and make amendments. The word secular had lost its significance. Appeasing a particular community and shun hinduism is not secularism instead hypocrisy.

His(our) project is can never be fulfilled with one man alone or even a select few like Anand Ranganathan,J Sai Deepak,Vikram sampath etc etc. It requires thousands of others. And here I am not talking about listeners but those who enact his recommendations and spread the message he gives. Here is where we come in. Those who can reach the grassroots. Our schools,offices,workplace,neighborhoods. We can be our own mini J sai Deepaks, we can talk to kids,the lesser privileged,our relatives, friends etc. Bring up topics like the free temple movement, the exodus of hindus,Urban naxals,need for an indic civilization etc etc. An important feature of this is speaking in local languages while disseminating the message. So this is up to you and me not him.

If Hindus all over India are awakened and they start asking for parity from the government on different issues, it would be a great service to Hindus and to Sanatan Dharma. So much disservice has been done to Hindus systematically, in the name of secularism, and most Hindus are not aware of it. They are busy with their daily lives, chores, watching movies and TV shows which are useless and, in a way, work against the ethos of the Sanatan Dharma, that such important issues are being neglected. Kudos to people like Sai Deepak who are fighting for Hindus’ rights. It is so sad that most Hindus are unaware of the discrimination that has been done against them in so many ways, and even if they are made aware, most just listen and go about doing what they do normally, they don’t take an active part to work on such issues, as if this is someone elses’s job. Such messages need to reach all Hindus and somehow, they need to be encouraged and brought to take an active role in such causes. Activists in different regions need to spread such messages in regional languages, and ask people to form and join in national movements on such important issues, so the pressure can be mounted on the government to take action.

Major temples require state police for security and crowd management and that’s why governments wanted its money for its various management works. When Sai says 'matha' it is the correct pronunciation as the in sanskrit /samskritam it is मठः
@@champajaipur6874 from hindi perspective you are right... About those two words... That is because of the schwa deletion principle in languages like hindi... Where the last vowel is dropped... Hence kerala is pronounced as keral.. etc. In samskritam it is dharmaH and arthaH... So his pronunciation is closer to samskritam.
Please refer to Sanskrit ...it is Dharma. Instead of finding fault in pronounciation do some thing.

Highly awakening speech. But, problem with public is that they can't fight for every govt practice in the court. Court on its own must take /order state govts to scrap those laws which are against constitutional rights & those which are discriminatory in nature. Or party must fund lawyers to fight the case. What public can-do is to sign the petition enmass .
