Stacking Bowls - What FUN! Of course your Granddaughter will love them - she is such a cutie! I started bringing myself into the metric system when I started building my Wood Shop. It made things easier, and now that the shop is Nearly finished, I use metrics building and turning. Great Bowls Kent! Great technique. Lowell
I’m lucky in the fact that I worked for Carpetright (RIP) and I had to deal with all kinds of measurements. So using FT/IN or CM’s is ok by me 👌🏻 Loving the videos too of course. Gives me help and ideas so thank you Kent. 👍🏻
Man the dark color of that hickory is really stunning! I enjoyed the 3-in-1 turning as well. The physics teacher in me loves metric. I just wish all my other tools were metric.
I work with thousandths of a micron, can you do the conversion? Only joking, the metric system is quite simple! No need for a lot of fancy micrometers or dial indicators this is not rocket science!😂😂😂 Ps. Linseed oil is the non-food grade oil from the flaxseed! Flaxseed oil is food grade, and can be boiled and mixed with beeswax!
America is the only country out of step with the rest of the world by continuing to use the Imperial measurement system. The metric system it is simpler and easy to use. Some functions in the US use the metric system, eg check the raft of rocket launches.
Kudos for promoting the metric system and helping pull us into the 21st century.

Great to see you using metric. I always use mm, never worry about cm. So much easier. Glad you've seen the light!
mm for wood work cm for dress making so I was taught many years ago.

Very nice!

I'm starting to agree. ;) Happy Turning!
Awesome color! Cool idea to.
Красивая работа!
❤
Am thinking of multi bowl stacks as kitchen set. Wonder if can apply to square bowls
What grit is your CBN wheel?
Nice video as ever.
And are you loosing weight? Looking trim.
And hooray for metric!

Your granddaughter is a cutie. I love the stacking bowls. Good job, Kent! I do not love the metric system.🤓
Why metric? Aren’t you in America?
As he said viewers all over the world, not just Americans watch, I was brought up on imperial measurements but had to change to metric no big deal.
We fought a war so that we can use proper measurements. Don't let all those sacrifices be in vain.
🥱
