Nice .I just bought mine with the coupon code you gave.i have bn looking for that discount and it came at the right time.love ur videos.Love scratch building my planes!!!
I can see this in my very near future! I am currently drawing airfoils by hand and intuition or tracing them off my computer screen and foam cutting them. My 3 channel gliders fly very well but my mono wing builds seem quite sluggish, not at all agile and don't like flying upside down. So far I have not figured them out.
Thank you sharing this tool It's a so easy way to replace the long and pain drawing,error,erase,redraw...on calc. So let's do it and try and how care if not work, experience is coming by doing. Just a little point, from years, decades of wing.... The torsion in tip wing is not so unneeded as you say. It's THE must have of approx all profiles on all wing that are not rectangular and straight. At the beginning of a man arrow, delta, biplane, standalone wing, glider as plane,... You should improve the flying stability and the speed range (larger but not speeder, not this goal) Torsion is the way that so many models miss and it's always the best way to improve with the longitudinal V angle Most of RTF models that not fly without lot of mix on radio encounter this miss. Just my 2 cents
Extremely helpful thank you ! Ive been trying to design a good wing structure using Fusion 360 but it just way too much time and effort. This program is very nice, I hope it can do some complicated wing parts, and can work with a 3D printer.
Hello. I really enjoy watching your videos. I have a question about Winghelper. I have a third scale Cap 21 foam wing plan that has the root and tip rib templates. Does Winghelper allow me to import both of the ribs and create the in between ribs to convert it to a balsa wing? Thanks.
Great overview of a cool expert system! Wonder if there are some integrated design optimization tools to choose wing span, profile, materials, etc. Usually I approach this by writing special optimization scripts in Python.
Help! I designed a very basic wing for my first time using wing helper. The cord of the ribs is 6 inches. After exporting to dxf then opening that dxf in VCarve the rib cord is 125 inches!!! what the heck happened?
You can export a format that needs conversion in another free software to save the stl. But this kind of design is not made to be 3D printed. You can try but wouldn't recommend that. Watch the tutorial in the documentation of wing helper
@@Joyplanes Yeah I got pretty good wing from Wing Panel to .stl model👍I have been using solidworks for modelling wings but those wing tips are harder to make there. So Wing Panel wins here creating the wing tips.
I did it several times, I wrote everything down on paper with a pen, the centimeters and millimeters of the wings that I drew and I did it 3 times and printed it in a PDF file and not one of them came out in the correct measurements, all with changes are good, but they came out way out of measurements
Wish I had this 20 years ago. Good video. Thanks.

Great!! That's pretty nice man! I hope to see some of your builds, if you're in the Discord server share some images.
I was eagerly waiting for this video after its anouncement in the previous video. Thank you.
And I wish you keep making such informational videos
Love you from INDIA ♥

A very good tip from this WingHelper!
Kolariya well done a great software...
Oh I noticed I saw the function in the software, the video answered my questions
This channel is best i like to make a plane because i subscribe for this channel
I have been wanting to build a reliable and simple wing for range testing of expressLRS link, thanks now i can do something of my own
Can we save the each of part as a step or parasolid ?
Thank you sharing this tool

You can export from Wing Helper into OpenSCAD, OpenSCAD can then create the STL file, which you can then import and use for the 3D printing.

Can this software, or any other, make wood ribs from a foam wing center and tip rib profile? Thanks.
What is this app bro, 🤔
Is there a common way to enlarge a schematic to say 1 size over? like from a size 40 to a size 60 model schematic?
Can u use blender or solidwork

Amazing video!
Thanks!
I like it, very interesting
how to import airfoil?
very nice soft and good explanation/demonstration , just a curios if this soft can calculate the lift and drags , etc.
It can not make those calculations, just the design. Cheers.
@@Joyplanes ok, thanks.
Would that be a one off payment or an annual payment?

Привет ты подскажи ты программу покупал.
Congrats, nice video. BTW, can you design a more sophisticated design like a PRANDTL-D wing with this software?
Does that software allow for wing tip wash in/washout to the degree?
He showed that at 4:09 !
Esto me imagino que luego se puede pasar a una impresora 3D en files stl
how can you d half ribs?
Watch the documentation tutorial on the wing helper website.
Did someone tried OpenVSP ?

Too bad, there probably someone faster - the coupon is unfortunately no longer valid!
Nevertheless, a great video! 👍🙂
The title says "Aircarft" instead of "Aircraft". Other than that great video!
Thanks! I fixed it right away. Nicely spotted.

$80.00 for a beta program is pretty steep. Especially for an rc plane build.
Dunno…. I’ve tried doing all of this in cad, and I’m pretty good at cad…. The amount of time saved is immense. What is you time worth per hour?
@@ucdwino Currently only $38.50... But I get your point.
