This is a very old model 3 bender. Works great and have used it for many years. I've also used model 32 and always say to get whatever bender friends have around you so you can borrow dies.
@@TTMotorsports What is the max wall thickness you've bent with it? I was going to go with the 32 with a ram because I want to be able to bend 0.250 wall tube.
@@Fix_It_Again_Tony I haave bent 2" x .250 with this bender and even 1.5 x .375 wall before But If i were buying new the model 32 is what i would go with, a couple of my holes were getting ovaled out so i got a couple new arms.
The best way to figure out the tubing is to get out a tape measure and measure it out and if you measure 30ft they are sold in 20ft sticks so buy 2 sticks incase you make a mistake. I used 1.75"x.120 DOM tube and1.5"x.120 tube for diagonal gussets to the side of the frame. Thanks
Stupid question for ya brotha but I have a fgt too and I wanted to know once you removed the stock bumper where did you reroute the rubber lines that were mounted to it
I do not have one and I have never made one for that truck. I don't make blueprint for these bumpers. I fit and build them to the vehicle, not a production item, they are one off for each truck.
I'm using the plasmacam program it comes with. Design edge is the new software. It converts black and white bmp scans into lines that we clean up in their software. Works great.
They are painted most of the time including this one after the video was done. Unless racing than the trucks aren't painted so you can check for cracks easier
I'm in Santa Maria, CA and can build one for you but you would have to come and have me build it on your truck. I know of lots of shops in LA and San Diego who could build one for you too.

Is that the Model 3 or 32 bender?
Using the scanner for the cardboard templates is fantastic idea. I don't think I've seen that before.

Thanks for the feedback.
Great job guys! Got inspired to do that on my sequoia. Can you please be more specific on the materials? How much do I buy on every tube? Thanks

I've been shopping for a first gen 4x4 sequoia to build for myself but hard to find for reasonable price and with under 200k miles.
@@TTMotorsports what size and material is the sheet of metal
@@dadozey7619 The bumper end caps was 3/16" P&O Steel Sheet
Hey probably a dumb ass question but if I paid you guys could you prebend and pre cut me one to weld up for my tundra? I love the look of that bumper
I could but most towns have someone with a bender that could bend them no problem
Now thats how you build 💪
Thanks. Always treat customers trucks like I would my own

This truck had bumper already removed. So I'm guessing he zip tied them to the frame or core support.
Hello Sir, would you be able to share an example or blueprint for a 2013 Silverado bot on prerunner style bumper?
I do not have one and I have never made one for that truck. I don't make blueprint for these bumpers. I fit and build them to the vehicle, not a production item, they are one off for each truck.
What size and wall thickness of tubing did you use???
This was 1.75" x .120 wall dom tubing
No hay lugar para ir a trabajar en su taller y aprender
What are you using to convert the scans to your CAD program?
I'm using the plasmacam program it comes with. Design edge is the new software. It converts black and white bmp scans into lines that we clean up in their software. Works great.
@@TTMotorsports That is so cool.
What size tube are y'all using to make y'all's bumpers
This is 1.75" x.120 dom tubing. Usually run that or 2" tube for full size trucks.
Where are you located and how much does something like this run??
We are in phoenix and powdercoated runs around 800 roughly.
What size tube did you use ?
this one is 1.75" x .120 DOM tubing
I’m near Santa Maria California, can you guys build me one ?
I would when i lived there in 2022 BUT i have moved and am in Lucerne Valley, CA I can build a similar bumper for you but would cost $2200
Are these type of bumpers never painted ??
They are painted most of the time including this one after the video was done. Unless racing than the trucks aren't painted so you can check for cracks easier
How much did all the materials cost ?
Depends on the price of tubing per ft. I would say around 100 or 120
I need one built and shipped to San diego. Please lmk
